I bought this toothbrush 18 months ago - it's still going strong and it’s nothing short of impressive. After years of manually brushing and a visit to the Dentist who flagged 2mins minimum brush time and benefits of a electric - I made the switch. I am so pleased with my purchase - the iq9 is delivering. I use it each day in combination with the Oral B app. It has somewhat gamified my brushing and helping me to be consistent. The app works really well. It records your brushing even if you dont have the app directly open. I tend to open the app each time i brush as i like the directional guide, where it shows which section of your mouth has been cleaned and you can move on the next section. The toothbrush itself is well made, feels sturdy in the hand. Charging frequency has been no problem to manage, it recharges quickly in a couple of hours ( battery from 95% down to 30% takes about 3-4 days, 2 brushes a day each about 2.30 mins average). The LED display is an indulgence but rounds the toothbrush off well. The pressure light display works very well. The different brush settings are useful. I initially started with Daily brush setting, but have dropped down to Sensitive as i was just finding my gums needed to get stronger/healthier first, to then move up to a slightly more rigorous brush setting. This sensitive setting so far has been perfect for me, with a very clean feel after a brush session. All in - very pleased with this model Toothbrush and would recommend to anyone wishing to make the switch or upgrade their electric brush.

Previously had a Sonic but the traditional brush head made getting into those tight areas tricky. After just two weeks with the Oral B iO8 and the round head brush the difference is frankly staggering. My teeth look like they have had a good old session with a hygienist. Really happy. Haven't tried all the Bluetooth stuff so can't comment on that, although I like the colour change to keep track of pressure for best results. Pricey? I don't think so based on results! Only niggle is the battery recharge life - runs down pretty quick but the charge is also quick.

Been using these toothbrushes for years and can’t go back to a manual brush. Expensive, but should last longer, especially with the extended warranty offered. Better made than the previous versions that had issues with the rubber on them started to degrade.

The main problem is when the battery needs replacing have to send it back to maker's. But they work well.

Seems great at first. Turns out to be a poorly put together piece of garbage - literally will not hold a charge, and it's not a battery issue as I've had the battery replaced. issue with either the software and/or motherboard (charging circuit, electronics, programming, etc). You can find enough reports on the internet that this is a systemic issue with oral b io toothbrushes of all models (to the point they've had to formally acknowledge it with the io2 series). Clearly significant quality control issues - probably the reason they cost so much as I expect they have to replace a high %. If it breaks within warranty fine, but if you're outside of warranty you might as well just throw your money in the bin
