The Non-Penetrating Roof Mount features a 2-inch mast diameter and is designed specifically for flat roofs. It holds up to eight concrete blocks for ballast, ensuring stability without the need for roof drilling. The K.D. assembly allows for easy portability, making it a practical choice for satellite dish installation.

Worked well for what I needed
This was used to mount a 26' vertical HAM antenna on the ground rather than on a roof. With 10 - 32# concrete blocks on the frame, it is completely solid and easily manages the antenna. A rock base 18" under the antenna site prevented me from burying a standard support post so this surface mount was the answer. Since the mount is square, standard 4 x 8 x 16 solid concrete blocks don't fit perfectly. It will hold 8 flat and two on edge. Had they made the base 4" shorter, 8 would have filled it nicely. It won't last forever sitting on the ground but it should do well for several years.

This is a good solution to provide a movable antenna mount for OTA TV or radio reception on a flat roof. Be sure to provide adequate ballast on the base with due consideration of the mass and height of the antenna itself, as the wind loads at the top are magnified by the lever-arm of the mast. Also ensure the tolerable roof max load per sq ft is well above the ballast and mount you are adding.Do not use this mount unless your roof is flat or nearly so. Take into account earthquake safety. Why use a movable antenna mount? Well for one thing if you have a low slope roof you're better off avoiding any unnecessary roof penetrations. If you mount a mast conventionally and need guy wires to retain it, that's at least 5 penetrations: two holes (min) holding the center base in place plus 3 more for the equally spaced guy wires. In many cases the roof geometry may not be amenable to good antenna reception along with adequate mounting support. Finally, tho the antenna mount is movable, it's not intended to be "portable". The position should be retained unless roof repair or new obstacles to the propagation path have occurred.

Good quality and does the job well
Great product and very reasonably priced. This is holding a 8 ft.Diamond V8000 triband ham antenna and its well secured without having to drill holes. It just survived 50mph gust winds here in LA. I will most definitely buy again.

Radio Antenna VHF, UHF base.
I used this antenna base to support a dual band ham radio vertical antenna. So far it has worked very well for that purpose. It is on a flat roof with pavers on it to keep it stable in the wind. I would recommend it and purchase it again.

Great equipment!
I bought this, along with the mat, for my weather station mast a couple of years ago. Has worked great! I've been waiting for over a year now for my Starlink satellite dish to show up and will order another one of these once I get notification that the dish has shipped. I have a flat roof on my new house and don't want to drill any holes or put any screws in it and this mount has worked perfectly!

Great after I figured out how to get it up there onto the roof..
Kind of hard to get the mast plumb and level by yourself, but other than that it's just what I needed.
