This is the second time a I have purchased a Lykus case. This one is a little larger that the last one as I had some more delicate items to carry around. The quality of these cases is better than some of the others for sale at a similar price.Something to watch is that Lykus lists all the internal sizes for its case on their listing. A buyer should read these closely and then allow for the padding that goes around the edge of the case, you do not want a case that is too small, but nor do you want one that is too big. My estimate is that the base is 1cm foam and the top 2.5 cm of foam (the small amount of compression you get when closing the case holds the items in place). Online they also have a video explaining how to install the foam, this is worth watching so that you understand how the foam works. It is on YouTube and called "Lykus Waterproof Hard Case Foam Plucking Demo"

You get what you pay for. Buy cheap and buy twice. You buy this product and you'll only buy once. This is a case built to last and as soon as I opened the box I could tell the build quality. The foam is easy to pluck and pull and my camera lenses fits snugly inside. I haven't checked if it's waterproof but looking at it and feeling it, I am sure it is.A great case and a case buy.

A very well made case, with ample foam for customization, and for a very reasonable price.There are a lot of hard, protective cases on offer, but this is definitely one of the better brands.

Really happy with the case! The foam was super easy to pluck out. The same way a Peli case is. The case feels secure, but doesn't have too much weight on it.

Cheaper than some competitors but a strong build - would recommend this product!

Being used for lens storage with silica gel (not included) for humidity control to avoid fungal growth on internal lens elements. Hinge appears robust, also the two catches, which have a safety feature to prevent accidental release. Comfortable handle. Three independent 'pluckable-foam layers can be plucked to size (the case has five layers of foam in total) suitable for keeping a heavy lens supported. I'd consider that the design has reasonably balanced rigidity/thickness against weight and cost. The internal dimensions differ from other brands so may help avoid going to a larger heavier case from another brand. The pressure relief plug (adjacent to the handle) has an O-ring seal and screw thread through the case to an internal nut. That nut rotates when tightening the plug (open case, use finger to stop the nut rotating). A tidy solution. Photo shows the case with the foam trimmed.
