These are just what I was hoping for! My sister got me real diamond earrings for my 40th birthday and the second time I wore them I had a back fall off them! I bought these hoping they’d keep my earrings on better, and they do! It’s silly to me that some people left a star off because they are a little tricky to get on, the whole point is so they don’t fall off, of course it’s not going to be super easy to get them on if they are a snug fit. I hold the earring backs up and down so I just have to pinch my fingers together while slipping them over the rods in the back. These give me all the security I was hoping for when I wearing my new bling… which is every day 🤗 I’ve had them for a little over a week now, I’ll probably be buying more for my cheap earrings too 🤣 also I bought the white gold and haven’t had a reaction to them and fake jewelry normally does after a few hours, I know some people complain about that too but it hasn’t been a problem for me?!

I orders these despite the mixed reviews because I suspected that the people that wrote the bad reviews did not read the description and didn’t know that it is specifically for notched posts only! I’m glad I trusted my gut. These r great! They r a bit big as some have stated but they do NOT show in the front as some have said and I have TINY ears. So tiny that when I get glasses the guy at the counter always comments on how small and cute my ears are lol! So just saying if these don’t show in the front on my ears trust me they don’t show in the front on anyone’s ears. A bit smaller would be nice but they r comfortable and so easy to put on and they def lock and make me feel secure with my expensive diamonds so I’m very happy with my purchase and def. Recommend. 🥰👍

I got these for my pearl earrings …. These do not lock. My earrings are still flying off when I take off my shirt or if I hit my ear running my hand through my hair.

I wish I knew about these secure locking earring backs sooner. That would have saved me many lost earrings. I am so so happy with these. I have only used them on my cheap earrings so far, and they work perfectly fine. I have typical 20 gauge post earrings and these fit. I got the set with one pair of silver and one pair of gold to accommodate my different earrings. Im considering buying another set just to not have to change backs so much cause I’m lazy lol.

I loved these backs enough to order a second set around a year apart. I didn't pay too much attention to the order other than clicking on the repurchase option on my account. When I finally lost one of my original backs I started wearing one of the newer ones at all times. When I put it on I noticed that the back was slightly bigger than the first set and the engraving wasn't the same depth. Last month I had trouble with a 1 of my 4 ear piercings, that have all been healed for anywhere from 5 to 10 years, start acting up and seeming to ooze. Recently I switched that bigger newer back to another hole and it is now doing the same. Although I just ordered the same items by clicking buy again I obviously did not receive the same products and warn that lower quality products seem to have been sent out (albeit in 2023).

I’m very happy with the locking backs. I lost one of my earrings which made me purchase the locking backs. Glad to report that my earrings have stayed in place. The only problem I had was squeezing the tabs and putting it on my left ear. It could have just been awkward for me. My husband ended up placing it on my earring for me.

I needed earring backs that wouldn’t keep falling off causing me to loose me earrings! Locking backs!! Seemed great, these are not cheap. They are huge! Theirs a flat side and a domed side. It’s yours guess what goes where. On the sides are two metal ?clasps? Flat metal push on it it goes down clicks in place. In theory. First I need one hand to hold the actual earring, then u gotta activate the clasps… both with one hand, while trying to get the stem in the hole currently covered buy fingers so the hole will be open. You call in reserves…. Hubby thinks it’s stupid too. Needless to say after many attempts I just called it a loss. Save urself the trouble, skip this one.
