The most versatile plant-based noodle
I love, love, love these konjac noodles. They take on the flavor of whatever you toss them in, making them really versatile; seen here with chicken broth, spinach, chicken and chili crisp. Simple and clean; helps satisfy that pasta craving. Consistency matches "normal" fettuccini and spaghetti noodles. Packets are perfect serving size; always gives a good rinse - I don't imagine they taste great on their own ;)

Excellentr option for keto noodles + good fiber for a binder
Recommendation: If you want a keto noodle replacement, and don't mind a slightly different texture (or the higher price), buy these.Pros:* Pretty much a noodle aside from having a bit more springiness* No carbs* No flavor* Good fiber for binding (if you have health problems)* Doesn't seem to aggravate constipation or diarrheaCons:* Expensive compared to noodles* Slightly different texture, but 95% a normal noodleMore:Has pretty much no flavor with just rinsing it off.In most sauces, you'd think they were noodles, and might not notice anything off.If you concentrate on texture- they feel a bit more "gelatin" like compared to actual noodles- have some resistance to breaking, have a bit of springiness when pulling on them.

Risk of gastric distress
I really like these when I first got them. Yeah, there was the expected fishy smell, but a good rinse in the strainer fixed that.I typically microwave them or boil them, then I add some oil or butter and a little flavoring of some type. Good stuff. The consistency is a little rubbery, but not overwhelming so. The spaghetti form and rice form are less rubbery, while the flat form is a little more rubbery, especially the clear flat form.Unfortunately, there's a dark side to shiritaki / konjac. If you eat a couple small packs of the noodles at once, you risk severe abdominal distress. The first time, I was in pain but couldn't swear that the noodles were at fault. The second time, I was certain of it.Both times, the distress occurred about 18 hours after eating the noodles and the pain was debilitating. All I could do was deal with the pain. The second time, I nearly went to the hospital. I was minutes away from going, but thankfully fell asleep while laying on my side on the floor (the only position that was bearable at the time). The pain felt like my stomach would split open. Picture the scene from Alien. Finally, after nearly 12 hours of misery, the pain abated enough to let me move around. Three days later, I still have mild pain, but it's gradually going away.Apparently this scenario occasionally occurs with others. I just searched for konjac stomach pain and there it was.I no longer recommend any shiritaki / konjac products. All of mine went in the trash. I hope this helps someone else avoid the same thing I went through.

Great for Keto
These noodles are delicious in any pasta dish. The texture is good and I love the fettuccine style. It seems all shirataki noodles have gone up in price and these were the best deal I could find. I wish the packages were 7 or 8 oz, not 6. I have to use 2. Overall very pleased.

It’s A Winner
Ok, this is my first time ordering this brand of Konjac noodles and it’s a winner I liked them very much. There was no fishy smell like the other brand I usually purchase, I rinsed them very well in hot water and then added my sautéed mushrooms. The noodle are thicker and way less chewy and softer than the other brand. As a plant based diabetic I love that they are high in fiber and next to nill in calories and carbs. My mouth can adjust to different textures but not taste these will definitely be my new low carb noodle staple. I was satiated after eating them and my glucose level did not spike.

Good for what it is. USDA Organic
EDIT: I have now figured out the main issue with these noodles. The oat fibers appear to amplify the plastic taste of the noodles. Lightly stir frying before trying to use them reduces it, but these still have more of the plastic taste than the clear versions without oat fiber. Recommendation still applies.Pros:- oat fibers make this one taste more like regular noodles- USDA OrganicCons:- Not returnable- Texture still has the rubberiness all Konjac has- Taste still has the rubberiness all Konjac hasSTRONGLY RECOMMEND buying a smaller amount first to test out first, and give it a chance using non-standard recipes meant to complement shirotaki. Normal noodle recipes just result in not good cheap imitations. Like expecting a movie while reading a dictionary or doing vocabulary flash cards.IMO these shirotaki with oat fiber to make them taste more like noodles defeat the purpose. Uncanny valley. Best type to use are the fettuccine clear noodles because of softer texture and flavor, and they're cheaper too.Go to a Shabu Shabu hot pot restaurant and try the shirotaki knots and you'll understand what I mean.Find it in your nearest Chinatown. Japanese and Chinese style hot pots should both have them in various forms and soups for you to try out.

Keto with a pasta craving satisfied.
I've read 100's of reviews. Tried many versions. This one is top of the top. I'm a pasta nut job. It's my favorite food. The slippery texture people complain about doesn't bother me a bit because I like that in my pasta. What's the point of having a noodle that isn't slippery? Bad reviews are people that expect an egg noodle / dry pasta texture overcooked. Ignorant. These don't absorb sauce, no, but they have no odor, have an al dente bite and are more apt to compare to a rice noodle. Let's face it, almost zero calories, all fiber, instant use. If you're a pasta super fan and need a fix, these are it. I've made soups, Pho, Spaghetti, Chilled pasta salads.......
