I used to have a different model of this toy for my cat, and he loves it (and so do we when he needs to get some energy out but we're busy). But he used it so much, and we tossed it around so much, it eventually broke, so I got this one as a replacement. I like that it comes with a little string to chase, as it makes the toy just that much more exciting to watch and chase around the house. I especially love how easy the string, and the little accessories are to put on and take off, since my cat would actually eat the feather if given the chance. It does seem to get stuck easier than the older ball - Once, I found it just up again a wall still turned on, but it's not strong enough to rotate away from it, so it doesn't roll around freely for as long as we'd like, but it gets the job done and our cat has usually lost interest by the time it stops rolling around anyways.

I chose this toy because it says it works on low pile carpet. Most of my floors have flat low carpet. This ball does not roll on it. Unless it's defective, the description is incorrect. It would be a great toy if it actually rolled. It doesnt even roll on my indoor/outdoor patio carpet either.Update on earlier review. I'm changing it from 3 stars to 4 because it does work well on the bare floor. Though I have little area without carpeting, my cat absolutely loves this toy and is obsessed with it. If only the description has been accurate.

I’m enjoying the break from “entertaining” my Maine coon while I’m having morning coffee or busy with something. He doesn’t actually play with it but keeps track of where it goes. He likes it when I put it in his “tunnel” because he gets inside with it going around and thinks this is great fun! I do wish it was easier to screw the top on as it takes a while to get it back on after charging. Pretty good value though.

I have a lot of these balls. Series by Cheeble is best by far, worth the extra $$ (around $30).Is got this one because it is a little bigger then most and has option for attachable feather (also can attach a bell, but most have that option). Issue is simple that it is way too weak. Not nearly enough power. It hardly rolls. Not much else to say: it if you want a plastic ball that has a dim light in it, this would do the job. If you any a ball that is interactive and loves, don’t get this one.

This cat toy is advertised as something that will roll around and tickle your cat's need to chase things, I got it for just such a reason so that my cat could have some fun when I leave the house. Here are the issues.1. It does not maintain a direction at all. This is an off set electric motor that spins one way for 1.5 seconds then the other for 1.5 seconds, sometimes due to the weight it will shift enough to go the same direction twice. But most of the time it's going to spin in circles and wiggle back and forth.2. It has a space that is advertised you can put catnip in it, you can if you want to disassemble the whole thing, but then it just goes into what is a spinning sealed container so it does nothing.3. If you get the model with the tail, as I did, it will get caught on it's tail and basically just become one of those cheap and cruddy "rave machines" from the early 2000's.My suggestion, for the price, buy an electric motor, attach it to a scratching post, and affix a fishing toy to it.

These toys are an excellent pastime for both pets and young kids.They are sturdy built of good quality material, keep the charge well for a few hours (in our case over 4 hours) and especially the movement is very lively and unexpected. In short, this toy is highly recommended, we ended up with 3 units of various colours, two are shown here after intensive use of about 6 month.We might just recommend to the designer to use a more elastic (less friable) material; the ball is often thrown and the repeated impact will cause cracks. In addition the charging port (micro USB) should have additional support on the shell, it risks breaking off under pressure from the plug.

Non sapevo cosa prendere al mio gatto perché è un gatto molto... MOLTO pigro e sono capitato per caso su questo, così ho pensato di fare un tentativo. Che dire, l'adora! La qualità dei Materiali non è male, ho preso la versione con la ricarica usb che trovo molto più comoda, inclusa vi è una campanella con un laccetto da attaccare alla palla e anche un laccetto di ricambio. La palla ha un solo tasto sulla parte alta che al primo clic l'avvia mentre al secondo clic fa cambiare le luci mentre con il terzo si spegne, basta poggiarla per terra e questa inizierà a muoversi a random.All'inizio il mio gatto si limitava a guardarla da lontano con aria menefreghista così ho pensato di lasciarla attiva da sola per un po' e dopo un'oretta il gatto ha iniziato a giocarci e correre con lei (cosa che mi ha scioccato dato che l'unico modo per farlo correre e usare il cibo umido, ma solo quello che gli piace altrimenti anche in quel caso viene a passo lento...) la batteria dura abbastanza, non ho ancora provato a farla muovere fino a esaurimento della batteria ma dovrebbe durare abbastanza.

Bought this as part of my cat's birthday gifts. He is 4 years old and very picky with his toys. But as soon as I unwrapped this for him he went absolutely crazy for the toy. The ball seems pretty sturdy and rolls well on the carpet and wood flooring in my house. This a really great interactive toy because you just turn it on and it rolls around on its own. What I will say is that you might want turn the toy off when not in use because the battery will go down over time and I'm not sure how you can replace it. There does seem to be some battery compartment inside when the toy is opened but I have yet to open it with a screwdriver to check. Overall great toy for self play by cats, can just turn it on and sit back.

Parece un buen juguete para mi gato aunque todavia lo mira con un poco de recelo. Pero sl menos lo va siguiendo por el piso. La unica pega que le encuentro es que al ser un plastico duro cuando golpea con algo hace un poco de ruido.

They just don’t want to play with it… They toy is still really cool though, but makes a lot of noise!
