Contains lots of handy tips for a trip to KL. It was very useful with my recent trip.

This is an excellent book, full of useful information and maps. Being pocket size, it will be very handy to take with me on my holiday to Malaysia. It is a 2020 print, so not 100% up to date (especially given impact of COVID) but it’s good enough for my purposes.

Overall, it’s a very good guide if you have limited time in KL and wanted to explore Melaka too. I’m very glad that I bought this book! It saves me a lot of time doing additional planning. I’m only going king 3 stars as it’s not up to date. Beware that some restaurants and places recommended in this guide are closed permanently after COVID. Do check online before visit.

I spent a week in KL, and I used this guide to pick out places to visit, and the maps were good enough to allow me to walk to most of these places, such as from the Pavilion Mall to Merdeka square to the Islamic Art Museum and several points in between. Then I was ready for points of interest more distant from my hotel. I would happily recommend this guide to anyone dropping into Kuala Lumpur for a week or less. It will let you use your time there to maximum benefit.

Great size for carrying around. Would have liked some more info on outlying areas eg. Bangsa, Zoo etc
