Very happy customer
I purchased this for my Chevy Tahoe when my serpentine belt broke and melted, effectively destroying my factory tensioner. This is every bit as good as the factory part and my son had this and the new belt on in 10-15 minutes. I drive daily for work, and this has given me absolutely no problems for the last few months since it was installed. This is a fair price for a solid, quality part that you can likely install yourself. Very pleased.

Perfect fit for 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3L
Perfect fit and function for my 2006 GMC Sierra 5.3 with 94K miles, just purchased truck and original parts looked to be the ones that came with truck. Upgraded to the Gates Idler Pullet 36299, Gates 38158 Belt Drive Tensioner, Gates K060930HD Serpentine Belt, and Gates 90K-38159 Belt Drive Kit at same time.

Good part, not as stout as AC Delco though...
Just did a full tune up on my 03 Chevy Tahoe. Belts, tensioners, wires, plugs, etc. These were in stock vs the out of stock Delco's & the reviews were good so I bought this one (main engine belt tensioner) & the other ac belt tensioner. Both fit perfect, both are quiet (stock ones had 220k on them), & have no issues.Install was 10 minutes & 3 15mm bolts....however...I like stout feeling parts & these feel lighter that the oe AC Delco pieces. I think they will do their job just fine but are built different, may cheaper, maybe better, I don't know but the lightness caught my attention when I had both parts in my hand.Once I put some miles on these I'll be able to firm up my review. I'm a fan on oe replacement parts whenever possible but couldn't wait for Delco parts to be available in this case. If the other reviews are spot on than I doubt there will be an issue.
