We wanted to brighten up our kitchen, which had been lit with 75W incandescent flood lamps in ceiling can fixtures. This retrofit was an easy way to provide better illumination to achieve an up to date look. The installation was straightforward. If you are somewhat handy around the house, it's a piece of cake. I needed to procure retaining clips to hold the springs that secure the fixtures to the ceiling. (Clips are not included with the light fixtures.) These were readily available online. The can material was quite hard, which made drilling the hole to secure the clips with the provided screws difficult, so I used double stick tape, which worked well. The ability to choose the desired color temperature was one of the main reasons I chose this item. There are five choices, each of which is definitely apparent, from warm to cool. I started the evaluation at the middle setting of 3000K and evaluated which setting to use from that point. I ended up selecting the warmest color temperature of 2700K. These fixtures provide the equivalent of 90 watts of power for a much lower power level. I installed five lamps on a dimmer switch (separate purchase based on manufacturer recommended list of operable switches listed on their website). The order arrived in a very timely way in perfect condition. I have already told several friends about this project.

Easy installation and great lighting.

I choose this light bulb because of the adjustablity of the light appearance. It adjusts from warm to cool. I set it in the middle setting. It made my kitchen brighter. I would recommend this product to other people and would buy this again. Plus the product arrived on time

These lights are great. Make sure to set the dim/illumination level to match the other lights in the room prior to installation.

I bought some BR40 bulbs that unfortunately did not fit my existing trim rings on my 6" can lights. That turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as I couldn't find the equivalent bulbs in the BR30 size and decided to do the trim ring retrofit instead. Turns out this was the way better option - looks way nicer than the existing, yellowing trim, AND, I ended up going with a much warmer color temperature setting than I thought I would. Which means even if I found the right size bulb, I would have likely returned it due to disliking the color temperature I had in mind. These trim rings have 5 selectable color temps right on top of the module. It was absolutely great to be able to test the different colors in real-time before settling on 2700k and completing the installation of the trim rings. Can't speak to longevity, but they seem to be well-built and function perfectly with my dimmer switch, no noise and no flicker. So far, 5/5, would buy again!

I bought a dozen lights and put them up in 2023. My husband built a nice garage in March 2025. Found my lights and put them in his garage. He loves them. I ordered the 16 pack this s time. I have the recessed lights in my kitchen and back porch. The 5/6 inch Luxrite lights are nice and bright. I am thankful they come in a 16 pack, more value for your money. They are easy to replace.

We have replaced multiple can light bezels and bulbs with these sealed units. They are very bright and the color selection switch is great to accommodate different lighting options. They are sealed units so there is no gap around the bulb like traditional can lights. Reduces air drafts. We had attic dust coming through the can lights when we ran our whole house fan on high setting.

Easy to install. Work great and look good too. I like the adjustable feature.
