Certainly a conversationn piece
This thing is not in the slightest part practical, that being said it's pretty cool. It's a solid hunk of virgin/goat sacrificing metal..yeah it's pretty heavy as well. The finish is pretty good. Sheath is nice enough. This was a total impulse purchase but I'm glad I got it if for nothing more of the weirdness of it. I feel like Thulsa Doom when I handle this thing..when's Conan showing up : Updated, after looking at the first one I got I wondered if the craftsmanship wasn't lacking a bit so I had a replacecement sent.Im glad I did, it was about an inch longer, the Damascus marking was evident this time , and overall nicer. They are hand made in Pakistan, the second one I got wasn't made on a Monday or friday....:)

Great knife for son's collection but can't figure out how to sharpen
This is a great novelty knife. VERY sturdy. Made from one piece of steel so it pretty heavy. Only problem is we don't know how to sharpen it. But it is very pretty and he loves it. The sheath was quality leather and very well made.

Amazing
Since I have no plans of using this for anything other than displaying, sharpness is of no concern but the only sharp part is the point. That said, I wouldn’t want stabbed with it. It is absolutely beautifully crafted and so unique in its design that I want to buy one for everyone.

SOLID and looks cool, but NOT Damascus.
Seriously heavy stiletto/spike, but not Damascus at all; it's just a cosmetic surface treatment, so lost a star for that. But still looks cool. Throws nice and could do some serious damage so be careful. It's heavier than some of the tomahawks and hatchets we throw. Basically a mono formed fancy ornamented legnth of bar stock or a repurposed axle end (judging from the dimple in the pomel butt. That's not a bad thing; it's SOLID.Put a bit of cork in the bottom of the sheath. Ours came already punctured from the point. Easy fix and looks fine. The sheath IS actually leather. The securing strap is completely useless as it's super loose and the entire thing is basically a rod, so there's no guard for the strap to catch on.Worth it? Eeeeeehhhhhh....juries still out on that one. But it is kinda cool, not gonna lie.

Very solid, pointy and beautiful. Sheath is not as good
Dagger is great, but snap the sheath shut and the Dagger slides right out. Be careful or you might lose a toe or spear yourself if you bend over and it slides out.

It is as beautiful as it is deadly!
I've always been attracted to a Damascus blade. The beauty in the design of this blade is remarkable. It shows a great deal of expertise in its crafting. The weight is perfect in hand. Would I buy it again? Without a doubt!

Poor build quality
I generally dont like to leave bad reviews but in this case, I will!FIrst off, let me say that this is a pretty "knife" but that's where it ends! The edges are nonexistent. It so bad that it looks like the edges were ground with a low grit stone at to remove any chance of ever putting an edge on it.Next, the tip does not come to a point at all! Its to the point of where you can see a triangle when you look straight at it.The sheath has marksthat appear to be from a sharpie marker. That's not ok!I know that it's a novelty item but at least attempt to describe the product being sold with a hint accuracy. What irritates really me is, I bought this to give as a birthday gift to a knife enthusiast and now I have to find another one.FTR, I will be returning this one.On a positive note, it is a sturdy piece. It's ground from a solid bar so it is inherently sturdy. LOL!Gift-ablility? I have to go with, no.Thank you

Stunning
This is a beautiful knife! Not sharp when you receive it, but very pointy and will definitely put a hole in something easily. Not really a hunting knife. It's ornamental for me and the leather case really sets it off! I hope the people in Afghanistan that are making this are getting paid a decent wage.
