Tidy bit of kit, Little heavy for what I was hoping but good and sturdy

So, I had to send the first one back. The centre column was not straight. In fact it was quite a way from being plumb. I checked all the locking nuts etc, even measuring the individual legs but no, it was defective. When the centre column was extended and the large orange locking nut was tightened, it pulled the column to one side. It was also noticeable when not extended. Not want you want with a tripod.Not a good start but with good customer service from Amazon, I obtained a refund and ordered another. This time success!This is a great tripod. The photo's of it are accurate. It feels good and it looks good. It has a good 'weight' to it and does appear to be well made. The ball head clamp tightens up well and there is no movement. Same with the legs, the lever locks are very good and once locked off there is no movement. An Allan key is provided to tighten up the bolts should the need arise.I'm glad I wasn't put off by my first experience with this tripod. I have confidence in this tripod with my expensive gear on top!

I've had a few k and f nd filters which have been good so I thought this would be good quality and it is. Very well thought out, very well made and just a really good product all round. The only down side and this is only a down side if your hiking with it is the weight, its not heavy but its easy enough to wear on you over a days walking etc. Over all brilliant.

This product is strong, sturdy, easy to use and looks very nice. If I had one criticism it would be that it is a little heavy, but that is the price of its strength. I am happy with my purchase.

Slightly heavier than expected, but, sturdy and well made. Recommended.

I must say that when I first saw the tripod I was a little disappointed - the stowed size is a lot smaller than expected…but I think that’s the whole idea. Build quality is superb, no loose bits or rattles. Fully extended, to the same height as my much larger manfrotto, they are equally as stable.This will be a great ‘everyday carry’ tripod and perfect for travelling. All in all I’d give this a solid 5 stars 👌

Very nice, compact, light tripod for excellent price.I wanted a portable tripod for carrying on walks that would also work with my camera carrying clip (Peak Design Capture). This wasn't stated in the tech details and the K&F website is a bit vague. I need not have worried. The other clip fits quite snugly, although it is a little larger (~ 1mm).Weight in its bag is a shade under 1.2kg. Bag is 40 cm long.

This tripod gets sturdy, I mean, it’s sturdy. It really is tho. It’s heavy, which I prefer and the material feels pretty strong. Let’s see how long it lasts. I’ll be back to this review, if it lasts more than 1 year in perfect condition with good maintenance it will keep it 5 stars.

Sorprendido por los materiales y la calidad de acabados del tripode. A simple vista ya tiene un apariencia de un producto con buenos acabados y al cogerlo se confirma esa sensación. Fabricado con metal se nota fuerte en la mano, con un peso adecuado para garantizar su estabilidad.Empezando la descripción desde el suelo, vemos una zapatas de goma extraibles con rosca lo que permite su recambio en caso de desgaste. Las patas se componen de tres secciones que permiten su regulación por clips, no por rosca, por lo que es mucho más práctico.Una de las cosa que más me ha gustado es la posibilidad de mover cada una de las 3 patas de manera individual, consiguiendo así diferentes ángulos de asentamiento y la posibilida de colocarlo en lugares estrechos y de diferentes alturas.Uno de los motivos para la compra de este trípode es la posibilidad de tener también un monopié, que se consigue al desenroscar una de sus patas y permitir la colocación rirecta lde la cámara mediante tornillo estandard o bien colocar primero el cuerpo de soporte del mismo trípode. Si es cierto que sería de aagradecer un poco más de altura pero el monopié ya hace su función.El cuerpo de soporte de la cámara permite todos los movimientos. Rotación suave y precisa de 360º con graduación grado a grado. Rótula de giro 5D con fuerte sujección y con posición fija para poner la cámara ven vertical. Barra central para subir y bajar con fijación por rosca. La cámara va sujeta con una pastilla rápida que permite un pequeño movimiento horizontal también graduado, y topes de seguridad anticaida. Todo el conjunto es de movimientos suaves y de fijación mediante roscas de apriete que aunque son manejables y funcionales, si podrían ser un poco más prácticos.Todo el bloque central se puede extraer del tripode de asiento sacando el gancho de lastre a rosca, lo que permite colocar el conjunto entre las patas para conseguir fotos a baja altura.Todo ello biene en una robusta bolsa con cinta para llevar colgada del hombra.Instrucciones en chino y en inglés muy escuetas y mejorables.
