Premium 7-Piece Roll Pin Starter Punch and Bolt Catch Install Punch Set - 1/16, 5/64, 3/32, 1/8-inch

Arrived extremely early, couldn't be happier with my purchase,they feel very sturdy and heavy,and should make this job go easier without marring my piece, just buy it if you are on the fence about it! Id consider these essential kit for building adult Legos.

Makes roll pin install/removal much easier, as well as minimizing any scratches or damage to any surfaces.

Bought this specifically for the bolt catch roll pin starter and finishing punches that are contoured to fit around the receiver extension lug on stripped lowers. The starter punch is a God-send, easily controlling the most difficult part of the installation process and keeping the roll pin aligned with the direction of impact from the punch. I had buggered up a roll pin trying to install without a guide punch before I bought this (always tape your receivers to prevent damage!).The guide punch and the finishing punch feel well made. I experienced none of the flex during use that I have had with other cheap punches. I haven't used the other guide punches yet, but they are well finished, have nice knurling in the grip are, and, most importantly, they are rigid. The tweezers are throw-away quality. It seems silly that they are even in the kit when compared with the punches.

they worked, I may have did to much review reading as I was expecting perfection on these, they are cheap so I can't be to harsh, all issues with them are fixable if you own a dremel and some tooling, if your on a budget don't shy away from these just know if your expecting perfection you will have to do some "modifying"

Perfect set of starter punches with an added bonus of bolt stop starter and driver custom punches. Wish I'd have added these to my tool kit sooner!

Nice looking set, but wish it came with a roll case or pouch. Not a big deal. However, the holes in the end of the starter punches are a little small. They are basically the same size of the hole I'm trying to punch the pins in. This doesn't allow you to really get a secure purchase between the punch and the pin. Once you do get the pin started, it is wedged in the punch pretty dang tight. The set gets the job done, but I would not recommend it.
