Got the job done.
This was the puller that finally allowed me to remove a stuck axle from my car. Tried a 12 ton hydraulic puller from HF, and it was too big. Then I went back to get their next smallest (5 ton), which didn't do a darn thing. Finally I ordered this guy, and along with a combination of some penetrating oil, an 8# sledge, and many tears, managed to get the job done. Great tool, can withstand repeated smashings with a heavy sledge, and still works like a charm.

Powerful, works well and think safety
Powerful when pulling of a hub that was splined to a Hydrostatic drive shaft. Make sure you are out of the way with a lever to avoid being hit by the object you are pulling comes off.

Smaller than expected but seems well made
Smaller than expected seems well built but I would question that 2 ton pulling capability. Seems a bit small for such a great amount of pulling. This did not work out for me at all, according to the description I was expecting a bigger puller for me to pull my pinion flange. Only one star off because it wasn't what I was expecting but the tool overall seems to be pretty well made.

Good tool to own
I bought this tool thinking it was bigger, the size got me at first. The more I used it though I found out just how versatile this little puller really is. It can fit in very tight places and grab a lot. I especially like using this tool for any stuck ball joint. I bought the 7 ton version for bigger jobs and together they make a good team. With this puller I haven’t used power tools on it and I’ve had no problems. Good tool for a good price.

Broke when trying to pull pitman.
Used to try and pull pitman arm on 2005 Dodge Ram. The teeth on the arm snapped off, I then swapped the arms around and tried again, snapped again, now it is garbage. Maybe it took more than 2 tons of force. Onto the 5 ton puller...

Great for a tight space
A lot of pullers on the market do not list their jaw thickness and such and it is difficult to tell how large they really are until after you've spent an arm and a leg on one only to find out it won't do the job. I was trying to remove a counter gear bearing on my manual transmission which sat 2mm from another gear. Other gear pullers that I tried were just too big or too small and flimsy or had too thick of jaws to get a grasp on the bearing. This one was able to grab hold of it and pull it off. It seems solid and well built too!
