Maxxis Rambler 120tpi Dual Compound EXO Tubeless Ready Folding Tire

Lasted 6 months on daily commute of 25 miles good tyre

Good luck getting these to go up tubeless, spent an hour so far and they won't seat on the rim, avoid! Even with a tube in there there are struggling to hook into the rim properly, never had an issue with any other tyre on the same rims.

Side wall blew out (tubeless) at 35psi. Say no more

Bought a pair recently and although when seated they perform on a ride they lose pressure very quickly. Thought I'd not seated the front correctly as I could see tread wobble but even asking a bike shop to fit during a service they said they were unable to do so as the tyre was deformed, in their experience maxxis often are. Also had problems with rear bulging for no reason and losing air. Having reseated, again, yesterday the tyre blew out with the whole tyre half hanging off and scratches to rim as a result. Tyre binned onto a different brand!

Per il momento sono riuscito a provarle solo per una uscita gravel con terreno piu o meno compatto ma asciutto, si sono comportate meglio di quello che pensavo, con camera in TPU a mio gusto ho dovuto gonfiarle 0,2-0,3 bar in piu delle Vittoria Terreno Mix che montavo questo inverno , ammortizzano bene , sono molto scorrevoli sulle varie superfici provate, unico dubbio (ma per il momento è solo tale) è che mi sembrano di basso spessore e quindi potenzialmente piu soggette a foratura.

Beschreibung total wirr. Einmal Drahtreifen, einmal Faltreifen, dann 60TPI und 120TPI. Ich habe mich an der Überschrift orientiert, also Faltreifen und 120TPI. Der Reifen in 700x40c wiegt 470g, also 60 mehr als am Datenblatt!

Tubeless ready and with quite low rolling resistance while still keep good traction in sharp turns. Didn't check manufacturing date but rubber seems fresh and not old with cracks. Ordered on a saturday and got it sunday evening with Prime. That's impressive and hard to beat.
