This book is so simple and to the point. Our church suggested multiple books about emotions and this is by far my favorite. Easy quick read for a day. Great message.

I thought it would have been another motivational book that fires you up for a while until reality sets back in and brings you back to your low point, but this book touched the heart and very core of my stronghold, helping me root out the mental foundation of my problem through step by step methodology that has been irreversable consciously and unconsciously. Now, i can say I have been fired up, transfrmed and the change has been sustainable in a transformative and renewing way that when i try to deliberately return to my stronghold, it my spirit just stops the feeling. I realize now that only the grace of God changes permenantly from within. Following years of being a Christian, it is now that i understand the power and meaning the Bible verse "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will" Rom. 12:2.As Tony Evans says, the struggle for overcoming stronghold is the struggle for our minds (paraphrased). This is a priceless read!

This is a great book. Very powerful and eye opening. He has a YouTube link to a sermon inside the book. His sermon on "Gratitude" is very powerful. This is a great book to help release emotional strongholds.
