Q: Would this NOT slip if used to raise a regular pillow on a bed that does not have a headboard nor is its head against the wall?

I have three of these pillows. No matter how I use it I do not experience slipping. I use it between my knees as a side sleeper, under my knees when sleeping on my back, on top of a leg wedge pillow to elevate my legs, and as a pillow under my head on a bed without a headboard. No slipping. However, I have never used it with a regular pillow on top of it.

Q: someone mentioned lavender smell. Is this true? Is there an added smell? I feel like even though the add says no odor that there must be off-gassing.

There is a small round disc in a packagethat you can open if you wish. It fits in the end of the case if you want it. No other added smell.

This delightful, little life saving item arrived today, tried it for an afternoon nap. What a comfortable pillow as I have issues with my neck. It cradled the neck extremely well and I slept like a log. There are so many uses for this little gem and the price is perfect!!!

Had to modify

Like another reviewer, I had to take a utility knife and cut off 1/3 of the pillow …now it’s perfect. Wish they came in 3 sizes so you didn’t have to go through the modification.
