Yesssssss!!!! Go for it!
I am in love with this pole! I was a little scared to buy it based off some of the reviews but I took a chance. I followed the directions and it was easy to install. It took me about 30 minutes to get it completely set up.Check your pole to make sure it is tight against the ceiling every time you use it and you will not have to worry about falling over with your pole. Very satisfied with my purchase.Be sure to get you some type of pole grip. I tried it without pole grip for the first two weeks and I was not able to hold my tricks long. Also, if your pole is stuck in spin mode you need to tighten the bottom piece up on the left and right side and it will not spin. If you want it to spin loosen the sides. The more you loosen them the faster the pole will spin.

Stays put and spins
The base is tricky because instructions are bad. Otherwise it stays put and the spin feature is great.

Large Decline in Value
I've had a pole by this brand before and the older models have a larger top piece to hold the pole better into place. The older versions also secures at the top making it much easier to ensure the pole is completely straight. It's nearly impossible to get the pole installed straight with the new versions, because the pole wobbles when holding it from the bottom. With the security rod at the top you can apply pressure down from the ceiling versus applying pressure at the bottom directly on the floor. When applying the pressure on the floor it is hard to keep this nine foot rod at 180 degrees. The bottom is not even connected by anything but pressure between the ceiling and floor making installation alone nearly impossible. This is a project for multiple people and even then you may not even be strong enough to tighten to the appropriate pressure. Very disappointed with purchase there is constant readjusting and it has already caused damage to my walls because of its poor structure.

Great pole and some pointers!
This is a great start for an in home pole. When doing the assembly make sure you assemble strictly according to the instructions because you can not eyeball it and if you do it’s unsafe. Make sure both posts that anchors the pole to the ceiling and floor are 180° Parallel to the ceiling and floor. they have to be absolutely flat so the pole does not topple or collapse. Use the small silver bars to tighten the pole pieces. The bolts at the bottom control the poles ability to spin or not. Screwed in=no spin. Unscrewed/out =spin. This pole is great! Me and everyone that’s come by to give it a whirl loves it!

IT IS SO GOOD THAT I CANT TAKE IT OFF.
Hi,I loved the pole, but the only thing is that now I have to move, and I don't know how to uninstall it, I have been watching a bunch of videos on youtube, but NO ONE of them is helping me because the AW pole is unique. I don't know why there is no instruction to uninstall it. I want to know if you guys can help me by telling me how to uninstall it. Thanks!

Item defect
The base came with a defect. There is a piece of metal sticking out from the post not allowing the bottom of the pole go on fully. I had to sand that part down in order for the pole to fit onto the base. When I was finally able to assemble the pole I realized it doesn’t work too well for static spins. It will untwist your pole either putting pressure on your ceiling or will loosen and move. One of the more slippery poles I have used. Have to use grip when you first get it.

Replacement is great
I think its defective, in the instrution book the cover looks like its supposed to go over the iron ring, but in real life it doesn't fit over the iron ring.*update, I received a replacement and it is much better. No creaks when spinning and all the parts fit.
