GREAT BOOK for teaching
GREAT BOOK for teaching! What a difference this book makes for understanding how to differentiate instruction for ELL students! My only criticism is that I wished that this book provided more intervention strategies for writing difficulties, but this isn't the author's fault because there isn't much research to date in this category.

Very informative book. Learned quite a few strategies for CLD students. Also using it to study for the RICA test.

Purchased for a class
Purchased since it was a required textbook for my class. Well written, easy to read, and has a lot of notes and resources to help you understand difficult concepts.

The text was redundant. Secondary strategies for reading were given a tiny mention in the chapters.Elementary strategies and examples were helpful. Cultural constructs of of teaching CLD students were numerous. Good appendix to compare structure of several languages.
