Where the Sugar Bugs Live Paperback – March 31, 2020

This book really helps young ones understand why brushing teeth is so important. My 2 year old loves it. When she brushes her teeth she says "bye bye sugar bugs".I definitely recommend this book.

My 3 yr old (about to be 4 in August) son and I love this book. We have been reading it every night since we received it last week. It allows us to discuss “sugar bugs” and makes it easy for me to get him to want to brush his teeth. As a dentist mommy I absolutely approve 100%! I especially love the detail on making c-shape with the floss to get all the bugs out.

This book captivated the patients that I am educating on oral health. Very creative and colorful the young children love it!

I was looking for a book with large visuals of bacteria physically eating your teeth. Found it here! It scares the kids and motivates them to brush.

Such a cute book! My 2 & 3 year old loved the illustrations of the funny monsters and I loved how informative it was on their level. Perfect for little ones learning the importance of taking care of their teeth.

Before finding this book, I was already using the term "sugar bugs" to get our 3 year old thinking about dental care. When looking for books on the topic, I was so excited to find this one...and even more excited after reading the story. This story has been an absolute favorite of hers. She asks questions on every page and recalls the book's lesson throughout the day, especially at night.It has a note about letting the parent overcheck to make sure the teeth were clean - this was a game changer and there were no more fights about it. I absolutely recommend this book to anyone struggling with getting their toddler to brush.

It's useful and fun. My son likes it. It gave him concrete reasons to brush his teeth often.However, it's lacking scientific detail. My 3 year old was asking the names of all the germs and what they did, and I couldn't answer because the book had no detail like that except the general causing cavities.

It had been always a struggle for my kid to brush her teeth until we got this book. Now every night she let us brush her teeth for full 2 min and then she rinses her mouth properly. She wants to make sure the sugar bugs are out and there is no black spot on her teeth. 🙂

Okay if you’re a parent with toddlers BUY THIS BOOK! This book was a total game changer for our teeth brushing. I already used sugar bugs as a reason to brush teeth but then found this book and now she wants to read the book all the time and “get all the sugar bugs” while brushing her teeth. Awesome way to coax stubborn kiddos into teeth brushing!
