The Russian Revolution: A View from the Third World

A powerful manifestation of history, theory, and perspective
A powerful manifestation of history, theory, and perspective from the Third World, as should be expected from all works by Walter Rodney. With great care and detail, Robin Kelley and Jesse Benjamin Piece together Rodney's unfinished work on the Russian Revolution, delivering a piece of literature that is both fresh and seasoned, aged and proved, and powerfully relevant. I especially found the chapters on "Marx, Marxism, and the Russian Left" and "Lenin, Kautsky and Luxemburg" particularly interesting and well interpreted facets of history.Walter Rodney saw history as a weapon, and that becomes immensely clear in this new book.
