there are no lock-washers included and the side where the 2 nuts are right next to each other is a horrible design flaw, especially when it comes time to tighten everything up. a sixteenth of an inch apart would work wonders on this item's design. Sturdy, well built. But the 2 nuts being right next to one another makes it a chore to tighten properly. i can only give 4 stars. These went on a 79 Camaro with 2-1/2 dual exhaust pipes/tailpipes, fyi.

The hanger threaded rod is too close to the clamp so the nuts interfere with each other. It should be spaced out further so you don't have to install the included serrated flange nut incorrectly to get it to work. this device works but it's really poorly designed for such a simple thing, basically, the one thing that could be screwed up with such a simple design they managed to screw up.

The nuts for the hanger and the u-bolt are too close and will overlap in certain scenarios where there is a bind on the hanger bolt. It would be nice if the nut was smaller or offset so that the overlap makes it easier to work with. I used a sawzall type of cutter with a metal cutting blade to cut the excess bolt length when done with the install. The parts are well made for the most part and work well for my cracked hanger that was welded on. I used the old hanging points with the old rubber bushing, at least until that fails.

As others have mentioned it's super easy and effective. Only modification I made was using my Dremel to cut off the slack because my subaru is low and I didn't want to potentially strike something on the road with it.But its good there's that much because it's universal, maybe someone else needed that extra, ya know?Great item

I enjoyed every aspect of this product. my truck should have had this robust bracket from the factory. It was a great design and fit like it was made for the hanging of the 2.5" pipe exhaust. Took less than 10 minutes to install. Using one box end wrench. Pipe no longer rattles and stays where it is designed to stay! Delivered on time as promised. Heavy duty Plated steel with bolts and nuts included. Priced competitively.

I should've listened to some of the reviews regarding how easily the threads strip on the ends of the u-bolt. There is no way it can be torqued to the recommended 30 ft/lbs as the nuts will just keep spinning because the loose washers end up deforming. When that happens, the threads begin to strip and can no longer lock the u-bolt in place. It would've been better to include flanged nuts instead to possibly avoid this problem.

This ended up working great for my 2006 Ford Fusion. I noticed a lot of people complained how the bolts on the left side were close together and it was hard to get it installed because of that. I still bought it anyways and I’m glad I did. I used a long socket to put the bolts on and the made it a little easier for me, but the placement of the bolts still isn’t the best. It’s been nearly two months now and it still holds up great. Would definitely recommend/buy again.

these look cheap compared to the factory hangers, the OEM are more robust, but with my aftermarket muffler I could not use them, so I found these hangers/clamps and 2 years later they are still hanging in there. 5 stars because they are 2 in 1 hangers and clamps and because they are durable, I thought this was a temporary fix but they are permanent now that I see how long they last. $3 or $4 buck for a clamp but $20 to $25 bucks for these because these have a hanger. ???????

I couldn't seem to find a 2.25" universal hanger for my v6 Escape here in Canada so resorting to ordering this from America. There was a bit of a delay in posting it, but I wasn't in a rush really. Quality is great and fitted my mid to backbox section really well to replace the rusted off hanger. The height of this bracket is different to the original obviously so it's at a slight angle to fit the original rubber buffer, but it doesn't effect how it works at all. I like how it comes with plenty of length on the threaded angle bar to fit a wide range of cars, i had no issue cutting the rod down to tidy it up a bit. I'd buy another if I need to for another car!
