This model is a filterless Auto-clean model with 1425 m3/hr suction power. This being filterless solves 2 concerns immediately - no hassle of frequent cleaning of baffle filters like in a filter chimney and low maintenance in the long term. Looks: This looks good with modern looks and enhances look of your kitchen space. The feel is glossy, and the top body is easy to maintain and clean as well. Suction Power: This has one of the highest suction power(1425) in this segment and easily sucks fumes out of the kitchen. Please note you need to get the chimney installed at a correct height as per your cooking stove/hobs so that the fumes/odors can be captured properly. The installation guy will tell you the correct height for it depending upon your layout. Do ask him before hand. Filterless & Autoclean: I did a lot of research on the internet to understand filterless chimney vs baffle filters. A filterless chimney with an enhanced suction power like this and installed correctly is sufficient even for spicy, oily Indian cooking. A lot of internet links will say that for heave oil/spicy cooking, baffle filters should be preferred over filterless chimney, but its not the case. As long as you have regular Indian kitchen, a filterless chimney with proper suction power would perform better in your regular kitchen. You pay a marginal extra amount for a filterless chimney but save a lot of time, hassle and overall maintenance with it. You can just press the Auto-Clean button once in 2-3 months and all the excess oil is collected in the collector which can be easily removed and reattached. If you have a commercial Indian kitchen with very heavy daily usage, then you can go for baffle filter chimney. Baffle filters require frequent cleaning, need expertise in removal and then reinstallation and have higher maintenace in the long term. Lights: It comes with 2 led lights which properly illuminate the area under the chimney. I dont use it much because my kitchen has sufficient lighting anyways but sit is often useful, specially when cooking food in deeper vessels. Touch and Motion controls: Easy and flawless. Both work like a charm. Noise: The noise is as similar to a regular chimney even with having a higher suction power. On the highest selection level of 3, it can be a little more however it is tolerable. Installation Kit & Installation: The installation kit was included with all fittings. The aluminium pipe included in the kit can be extended till 8-9 ft. My outlet was a little farther due to my modular kitchen design and hence I paid 450 Rs extra for the extra pipe. The installation charge is 590 Rs so for me the total came out to be 590+450=1040/-. The installation guy provided an invoice for the same. Please note I already had a cutout done for the chimney as per the measurement and also the cutout for the exhaust pipe as per the measurement, by the carpenter beforehand. You should get it done in your kitchen as per chimney dimenstions. The diameter for exhaust pipe opening towards outside should by 6.5 inches. Elica Support: As soon as the product got delivered, I received an email from Elica asking me confirm the delivery and ready for installation in Bangalore (I think it is auto synced with Amazon). I replied to the email promptly, and i received a callback in 2-3 hours by evening confirming my availability and the installation guy came the next day to install the chimney. If you dont receive the email, you can call Elica customer care yourself and they will also be able to schedule the installation. Once the chimney is installed you will receive another call the next day to check your installation experience and also Elica Support Executive will cross check what were you charged for the installation including extras. Please note Elica uses authorised Service vendors to perform these installations. For me it was "Go Service" in Bangalore. Elica Mobile App: While your Amazon Invoice is sufficient as your proof of purchase for warranty, you can also install the Elica Mobile app (available on playstore) and register your product with the serial number, purchase date, and a picture of your proof of purchase invoice attached. Using the app you can also check for e-service manuals and also schedule service visits etc. Overall experience: Just go for it. I researched other Elica, Faber, Hindware, Prestige products but nothing beats this one.

This model is WD TFL HAC 90 MS NERO from ELICA- a filterless autoclean chimney with glass hood, 90 cms, with swipe+touch control, autoclean function, and 2 LED lights. It's suction power is 1425m3/hr and it comes with an installation kit ( 8-9 ft stretchable 6" aluminium exhaust pipe with cowl cover+ 2 clamps and tape) included in the box itself, along with the chimney from brand ELICA. The regular online price of the chimney is ₹ 15,799 on Amazon, but i got a ₹ 500 discount from Amazon on Republic day sale ( ₹ 15,299). Furthermore, I got a 10% discount on SBI Card EMI of ₹ 1500, so my final buying price came down to ₹ 13,486/-. The product was ordered on 16/01/2023, and was delivered by Amazon agent the very next day ( 17/01/2023). Installation request was raised by Amazon to ELICA on 17/01/2023, and installation was done by ELICA technician today, 18/01/2023 ( 1 day). Now here is the immediate post-installation review: Amazon Prime delivery: 5/5 ( < 24 hrs). Amazon installation request: 5/5 ( same day as delivery). Seller Dawntech Electronics : 5/5 ( no damage to product or packaging). Elica installation: 5/5 ( installed within 48 hrs of delivery; installation hassle-free, no hidden cost- just ₹ 1200. ₹600 installation charge + ₹ 600 for 6ft of 6" aluminium pipe. Installation kit comprising of aluminium duct pipe 8-9 ft 6" width + cowl cover + 2 clamps worth ₹ 1500 provided by ELICA alongwith the chimney itself in the box for this particular model only). 10 feet of extra pipe will cost ₹ 1200 during installation, here, only 5 feet was required. The ELICA chimney itself, pros and cons: PROS: Looks: 5/5 ( very classy, glossy black finish with indicator lights and start-up tones). The filter area is black. Built Quality : 4/5 ( good, the product weighs 14.5 kgs) Suction power: 5/5. Extremely strong suction, particularly at level 3 ( 1425m3/hr). More than sufficient for day to day cooking- level 3 only required during heavy frying; otherwise, level 2 or even 1 is sufficient. ( consumes less power and makes less noise). Touch sensitiveness: 5/5 ( perfect) Swipe control: 5/5 ( excellent responsiveness). Price : 5/5 ( most competitive price of ₹ 15,799 on Amazon because it's suction capacity is 1425m3/hr; most 1500m3/hr chimneys are way costlier, as it uses a bigger motor. Furthermore, ELICA also gives a nearly full installation kit with the chimney, thereby reducing installation cost by almost ₹ 1500 ( without installation kit, installation charges may be between ₹2500-3000, depending on length of pipe required). CONS: Noise: 3/5 It's only conn is it's noise, which is really loud, particularly at level 3. ( probably 68 db, and certainly way more than stated 58 db). This is understandable, as it has a larger motor, that makes a much louder noise. But, it's a trade-off for higher suction power. Low noise= less powerful suction too. However, one gets accustomed to it with time, and becomes less irritating to the ear, I suppose. Overall: 5/5 ( a true value for money product from ELICA). Conclusion: If you need a filterless auto-clean chimney with a powerful suction ( heavy frying in kitchen) at an unbeatable price, and is prepared to tolerate a slightly noisier operation, then go for this model from ELICA.

Received a product on the 11th, and installation was completed on the 12th Jan 2025. The product looks good. A few scratches were found, but overall it looks good. Suction power is also good. The only disadvantage I can see is that it's a bit noisy (maybe because I'm a first-time user). The installation person was polite and explained the process clearly.
