Fixed my dry eye issues after night
I suffered from dry eyes in my sleep, and I would wake up with my eye lids pasted to my eyes. It was really affecting the quality of my sleep. I discovered this product, and it changed my life. I put some in each eye before bed time. It has fixed the issue, and I can now sleep through the night without any problems. It's an ointment, so it take some getting used to, but it works itself out over night. Great product. Highly recommend to anyone with dry eye issues after night.

Made a difference
The GenTeal Tears gel, applied after prescribed cyclosporin drops at night, have helped immensely with dry eyes during the day. Apply a warm facecloth in the morning for a few minutes, to alleviate any residual cloudiness from the gel.

Shih Tzu Eye Heath
I put a dab of the ointment on the crusty eye discharge around my Shih Tzu's eyes and tear ducts to soften it. I can then easily wipe it away so not to hurt their eyes. I also use the tear gel drops in their eyes to help not to get eye ulcers.

It’s real thick and stays blurry for a long while after you wake up.
Works ok for dry eyes only thing is the next day your eyes are not clear for a good part of the day which I don’t like. I would much rather have the Genteal gel but they are out of stock for months! The company said it would be back in April but I haven’t been able to find it yet.

Seems to be helping
A few months ago, I developed some pretty bad dry eye symptoms in one of my eyes. I was using OTC eye drops constantly. Then my eye doctor recommended Cequa, which helped but not enough. At my last eye doctor visit, the doctor recommended that I use an eye ointment at bedtime. I went with GenTeal Tears and so far it has made a big difference. Before the GenTeal, I would have pretty bad eye pain in the morning when I woke up and would need my eye drops. Not any more. One thing I need to say. If you’re using an ointment or gel in your eye, expect it to cause some blurry vision for a short time. With GenTeal, the blurryness goes away for me within 5 or 10 minutes. And one more thing. Don’t try using an ointment like eye drops. You should put a small amount on a clean fingertip and apply it inside your lower eyelid.
