Good quality of paint
Great paint consistency, good value for your money. Got it in time to finish my painting. Will buy again when needed. Works perfectly on metal, wood, canvas or glass!

Excellent paint with thicker texture to show off your brushstrokes -- or not
I'm a professional artist & editorial cartoonist with over 50 years of experience with acrylic paint, and I use this stuff all the time when I'm working on canvas or wood panels. I use it with brushes, painting knives (don't get me started on the difference between a painting knife and a palette knife), little pieces of cut-up credit cards, and my fingers, and always get great results. Super good for impasto work. You can also thin it way down and use it like watercolor (you can't do the same tricks you do with watercolor, but it works wonderfully on paper and if you mess up a spot you can just paint over it!!). It's thick enough that you can scratch lines into it, and embed small thing in it. (Sand is fun for texture, and of course if you paint outdoors you will probably have embedded gnats). I can mix darn near any color I want with just the primary colors plus black and white, but there are lots of other fun colors. At the moment I'm playing with "Persian Red", which is really a very pretty pinky-peachy shade. Anyway, it's good stuff.

Vivid Colors and Smooth Application!
I’ve been using the Liquitex Professional Heavy Body Acrylic Paint for a while now, and it’s easily one of my favorite paints for canvas work. The pigmentation is incredibly rich, offering vibrant, true-to-tube colors that stay brilliant even after drying. The heavy body consistency is perfect for creating texture and layering techniques, which I use frequently in my artwork. The paint blends beautifully, allowing for smooth transitions and gradients, and it holds brushstrokes well for more expressive details. It also mixes effortlessly with other Liquitex mediums for added versatility. I appreciate the sturdy packaging of the 2-oz tube; it’s compact yet lasts a long time due to the high pigment concentration. My only minor critique is that some colors can feel slightly thicker or thinner than others, but it’s manageable with a bit of medium or water. Overall, this paint is a fantastic investment for professional and aspiring artists alike. Highly recommended!

Favorite white paint
This is the best white I've used so I had to order some once my tube ran out. It's the only white with enough pigment to do stuff. You can paint over other colors and it actually works. It's thick and not runny like other paints

Make better Acrylic paitings.
If you feel like something has been missing from your acrylic paintings, it could be the paints you have been using. Not all acrylic paints are alike. I am not a professional artist, but I do love to 'dabble' and have been doing so for a few decades. I like to create big abstract pieces. One thing I have found out over the years is to go for the Professional paints, not the Student quality. The paint makes a difference and so do your tools. Brushes can be quite pricey, just buy the best quality you can afford. When It come to certain paints that I use a lot, I always buy the larger tubes (saves money in the long run). Remember the color wheel? Bbuy the basic colors and you can mix the colors you need. What I really like about the Heavy Body paints is the ability to create texture in your paintings. I started out doing flat and hard edge acrylic paintings. Now I want to add some different elements and techniques into my paintings. The Liquitex Professional Heavy Body paint allows for my experimenting with many different painting techniques. You can still add water to the paint to make a sheer wash, but you won't need to use as much paint. Really you can use the Heavy Body in every way you used a lesser acrylic yet go further. Do things you hadn't done before. See brush strokes better, create small peaks, and swirls to name just a few things. And when you want to add special texturing materials to the paint, the Heavy Bold will hold it better. It costs more, but in my experience it is worth it. Happy Painting!

Not opaque enough
I don't know what it is about lime green but I just can't find any brand that has a good opaque paint. Spray paints, paints in tubes...all require multiple coats and this is no exception. Granted it IS better than the cheap craft paint (which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 3) but it still requires at least three coats to cover over white primer. Many of the other Liquitex colors that are listed as opaque are truly opaque. I've also had issues with the bright aqua green, it's even worse than this one. I also find it frustrating that Liquitex and stores charge more for different colors of their heavy body acrylics. Why is this one and their opaque yellows almost twice as much as the other colors??
