INTENSELY BITTER but has its uses...
This is the STRONGEST maple syrup I’ve ever tried, it’s so strong in fact that the signature maple syrup flavour is barely discernible. It’s also extremely bitter almost like intense black coffee without any sweetener.I actually got it for drizzling but after finding it too horribly bitter for eating, I decided to experiment with it and found some uses for it...- adds flavour to plain yogurt- useful for cookie recipes, flapjacks and for chocolate cake- adds richness and depth to a vanilla protein shake or porridge- creates a unique flavour twist stirred into hummus- great with some oil and spices as a marinade or a salad dressingSo for me, definitely no good for drizzling as it’s not very sweet or mapley but useful in small amounts as a flavour enhancer or in recipes; it still doesn't impart any maple flavour but it's got an interesting rich, bitter profile that's not bad when used in the right way.

Lovely maple syrup
It's the third or forth time u have purchased this. Lovely with crispy baxon and buttermilk pancakes for a late breakfast. Lovely taste and consistently is really good.
