This is very sheer, but sturdy and good quality. I am using it to protect my new vegetable plants in my garden from insects and birds. It is working out really well. I bought the black. It isn't shading any plant using a single layer. But if I needed to protect the plants from the intense Florida sunshine all I'd have to do is double it over the plant and it would act as a sunshade.Also, there is absolutely NO smell to the material.

Used this on guest chairs for a small "covid" wedding.Eventually it turned out nicely, though I had to throw out first order because I foolishly took the advice of googled information saying it could not be ironed.I did as suggested on different sites and wet it, then into a cool dryer to get rid of the creases. Came out five times worse.Tried steaming the hell out of it. Nope! Threw it out and ordered more. Finally risked the iron on medium heat and it was lovely.Be careful, the ends of this stuff gets bunched up very easily and it's a pain in the ass to detangle.Other than that, it's a good product for a very good price.
