KOHLER GENUINE PART 1025648 DRAIN PLUNGER EYEBOLT

Mine broke after about 10 years usage, nice that Kohler supplies just the plastic "Eye bolt" for 2 bucks. For that price I got 3, just to have around. Easy to install, the stopper eye bolt just "sits" on the lift rod, the hole further up is for "vandal-resistant" installation, according to the Kohler installation instructions found at their site. Go there, then look for: onlinecatalog/pdf/115999_2.pdf (or just search for the pdf) After adjusting the height, very slightly snug the finned spacer to the bottom of the pop-up to lock it in place.

This was the genuine Kohler part and worked as it should.

That is a frustratingly uninformative product description. This is a replacement stem for a sink stopper. It's a white nylon 'screw' that joins the fins and stopper, and transfers the action of the lift lever. 3.75" overall length 3.25" from the center of the lift lever hole to the end of the threaded section 0.245" diameter lift lever hole The tip threaded section is 0.5" long with a 1/4"-20 thread Next is an unthreaded gap of 0.75" with 0.175" diameter The center threaded section is 1.25" with a 1/4-20 thread. The half circle on the bottom section is so that you can rest the stopper on the lift lever to set the initial length. The stopper should be adjusted to be about 1/2" open. You only need to go through the annoyance of unscrewing the lift lever and passing it through the hole once, rather than multiple times for adjustment.

Perfect solution for our Kohler sinkstop. Easy to install, fit well and works fine...very easy and inexpensive solution.

My sink stopper had stopped stopping. Turns out the little plastic insert that goes from the top to the support mounting beneath had broken. This little guy is the fix. It's design is weird - screwes in from the bottom, screws *through* the mounting, and then pushes out the top to screw into the ring at the top. I'm not particularly happy with THAT design, but it is what it is, and necessitates this dinky plastic thing to fix it when it's broken. 5/5 for the plastic thing. 2/5 for the kohler design.

Not sure why these are made of plastic in the first place because they're prone to breaking. In the 4yrs we've had our Kohler faucets (2), we've had to replace this little gizmo two times (one at each sink). We're not hard on the drains either, we don't really even use the stopper feature (maybe that's the problem?). However, for a couple bucks on this replacement piece &15 min. of labor, good as new.

I have a kohler stopper system in my sink. This piece broke after 10 years of use. So i bought this item and replaced. You can look up a youtube tutorial that shows how to if you don't know. Overall it took ~30 min just because it was my first time. Highly recommended!

J'en ai acheté 2, pour remplacer la pièce cassée sous le bouchon de lavabo de salle de bain. Correspond exactement à celle de ma robinetterie de marque Kohler. Toujours bien d'en avoir un deuxième exemplaire en réserve, et le prix (3,40$ + tx) est correct pour une telle pièce en plastique. Tout compte fait, il est préférable qu'elle soit conçue pour casser avant le reste de l'assemblage !!
