Omg - I am one of those people who truly loves fruit cake. This is without doubt, the best fruit cake I have ever had. I just ordered another one to send to a dear friend of mine who also loves this seasonal delight. It also come packaged in a beautiful tin. Yum yum yum‼️😊👍

So disappointing. The cake image on this cake shows a full round fruitcake with a round cake tin. What I got was a small rectangle cake in a rectangle tin. I paid for the round cake NOT this small rectangle cake what a rip!!! I would not have bought this cake had it shown it as a small rectangle because 30.00 is way too much for such a small cake. The cake is delicious and well made and it has alcohol in it. There is not enough fruitcake for all the family members that want some. Again, so disappointing to get scammed from Amazon.

I loved this fruitcake! The only thing it lacked was an almond paste topping! a little crumbly but just delicious! Relly pretty tin also. Just eating a little at a time so it lasts!

The fruitcake tasted good but was very crumbly! Couldn't get a smooth slice, it fell apart each time. The fruitcake wasn't dry, so not sure why it crumbles when you slice it.

I had high hopes when ordering this fruitcake, as both the previous reviews and the add copy implied a more natural, less artificial product.As an avid consumer of fruitcakes from multiple sources for several decades, I’m aware that the glaćed fruit used is typically heavily preserved, with additional artificial flavors and colorants.I had hoped, based on the description here that this fruitcake might be the exception. Alas, as my included photo of the ingredients shows, this is another heavily processed and preserved cake. Not only is High Fructose Corn Syrup the primary sweetener in the fruit, it is also the sweetener listed for the cake itself.This is important to note, especially for those monitoring their sugar intake.As this also contains industry standard preservatives, artificial colorings and flavorings, in addition to the aforementioned nuts and fruits, it is neither “more natural”, nor more “homemade” than any other commercially available fruitcake product.(As a side note, I also received the fruitcake slices in a thin paper box, NOT the tin containing a single loaf. I suspect the wrong ASIN was assigned by the vendor, or Amazon. This is not a major quibble, but worth noting if you are planning on gifting this.Also the product description needs a correction regarding the amount of product. The fruitcake slices box indicates 1 pound, 2 ounces. That is 18 ounces total. The tag line description here indicates 20 ounces. Again, not a deal breaker, but in an era of heightened inflation and an already-pricey product, it is worth a mention.)I’m hoping the fruitcake itself is good. I will update as necessary once we’ve had an opportunity to sample and compare.
