I originally wanted to order the Valentino aqua, sold exclusively by Nordstrom, after smelling a paper sample that came in the mail. It was awesome!Being that it was a bit pricey, I didn't. Then, I saw this one with amazing reviews so I ordered. I didn't regret! My wife really likes it too. To describe it, it's kind of sweet and very smooth smell. it sort of fills your whole nostrils and then smoothly and daintily dissipates. Complex, yet not at all overbearing. A real well balanced, delicious combination. I'm kind of very picky with perfumes so a five star for me is kind of saying something. Well done, Valentino!

The media could not be loaded. I searched for this colonge on other websites and they were far more expensive. I was blown away at such a great price. This was a Christmas present for my son and he loves it!

This is for a classy event. It smells good. It's not for the young. If you're young and you wear this, you may attract older women that understand class. It's for tge 35 and up while dressed up. It smells good, but you must be sharp when you dress in order for it to work.

This cologne lasts all day and doesn't change character much throughout the day either. It's a great autumn and fall smell and seems to be fairly liked by the folks around me and well tolerated by those who don't like a cologne. I've had compliments but no complaints. The spray nozzle is strong and it only takes a few pumps to get the coverage I need to last all day. I wouldn't even consider another smell at the moment. You can't go wrong here.

It turns out this price was too good to be true. Nordtsrom had the 3.4 oz for $98, so I took a chance and purchased the same bottle (I thought) for much cheaper... As I am always curious about things I went by Nordy's and had them make me a sample tester. Upon receiving the Amazon Valentino I sprayed each on sheeet of typing paper labeling both. Initially both carried the wonderful full fragrance that I had originally fallen in love with at Norstrom so I was soooo excited. However the test was not complete. The next morning I went to sniff each paprer to see if it lasted them same, that's when I was completely disappointed with the Amazon buy as it didn't hold up, the aroma was nearly non-existent while the Nordstrom sample was as bold and lovely as the day before. The only happy ending to this story was that Amazon Customer Service was Gracious and Understanding while gladly refunding me... So the moral is, sometimes if it sounds too good to be true, 9 of 10 times it is. Bottom line , I should've trusted my instincts but I'm not deterred in any way with Amazon just for not listening to my ineer voice.
