Yes it is what so-called JIS spec, which is produced by our own factory. The blade is produced in our FUKUCHIYAMA factory in Kyoto with our original blended special alloy, heat treatment technology, and quality control. We say Phillips because it's a nominal for cruciform tip in the US. And you can also use with any other phillips screws you find in the north american markert.

The slotted tips have tapered tip. -5.5 is equivalent to ASME 3/16 inch, which has 5.5mm tip width and 0.8mm tip thickness at tip. -6 is equivalent to ASME 1/4 inch, which has 6.0mm tip width and 0.9mm tip thickness at tip. -8 is equivalent to ASME 5/16 inch, which has 8.0mm tip width and 1.1mm tip thickness at tip.
