Lift the Flap: Nursery Rhymes (What's In My?)

My granddaughter loves this book!! We read it over and over She does have concerns about Humpty Dumpty's cracked head but I told her that the Kings horses and men took him to the Royal egg doctor to repair his cracked head That made her happy LOL

My 2.5 year old son loves this book! He sings along with the ones he knows, and listens intently to the new ones! Great for bed time reading!!

Very nice book with 8 beautiful mother goose rhymes. There is One flap to lift for each rhyme. Simple and a very interactive book. My two year old loves it!

I love Priddy Books, I haven't found a one that I didn't like. This board book features all the classic nursery rhymes including Little Bo Peep, Hickory Dickory Dock, Jack & Jill, Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, Little Miss Muffet, Hey Diddle Diddle, Humpty Dumpty, and Teddy Bears' Picnic. Most of the rhymes are on one page but there are two that need two pages. I like the illustrations that accompanied the rhymes. They’re cartoonish, they look typical of how that rhyme is portrayed. Each of these rhymes feature only the first verse. Using a nice black font, it begins this verse on the page and then, the reader needs to lift-the-flap to finish it.The illustrations feature the rhyme's character and the background is filled with colorful images to fill in the role it’s portraying. Humpty has a castle, trees, and some grassy hills behind him. The mouse is not alone in Hickory, Dickory, Dock as there's quite a few other mice in this house. Some of them are roasting marshmallows and some are waiting on their friend who just ran up the clock, it’s quite a cozy scene.If you're familiar with Priddy Books, you know that these books are heavy-duty. This being a Lift-the-Flap book, you’ll find a small cut-out for a finger to pull the tab down on each page. The flap on each page is well-constructed and it won't rip or tear-off quickly like other books. I like the smooth finish on the book (pages and cover), as this definitely helps with gently wiping the book off. Another winner of a book! 5 stars
