Got this to make Cafe Sua Da *Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Haven't used it yet, but all parts are solid and well made, sturdy.

So far the sturdiness of this press is holding up. The screen does a fantastic job of filtering out any unwanted grounds. I don’t drink coffee, but rather utilize this press to drink Cacao bean nibs, and Yerba Mate. It works way better than I anticipated!! The only complaint I have, is of mine own mistake. This size press is difficult to clean out with a sponge as my hand is too big. That is a mistake I made by purchasing a smaller size press, and is not any fault of the manufacturer. I believe I read that it came with an additional filter screen, but mine did not. I’m confident that the seller or manufacturer will rectify this issue. If not, I will update this review. This product has exceeded my expectations for the price I paid. Since I put boiling water in this press, I assume it would be dishwasher safe. However, since I use it a few times throughout the day, I just wash it by hand in the sink. I HIGHLY recommend this product, just maybe purchase a larger size to facilitate washing with a sponge or rag. Enjoy!!

I bought this because of the price. I am always breaking them as my hands shake. So though I thought it may end up to be garbage for only 11 bucks I was totally wrong....It is perfect, prettier than my $30 ones I have bought over the years and a perfect size for 2 cups a day of my yerba matte...VERY GOOD BUY. Would recommend

The interior of the lid is plastic which defeats the purpose of a stainless and glass press. There is no way to avoid contact with the plastic when pouring.

This coffee press is a compact powerhouse that seamlessly combines style and functionality. The sleek design, features stainless steel accents and a durable borosilicate heat-resistant glass pitcher. Works great and looks great too. I use it mostly as a teapot of sorts to brew my loose leaf tea. Works great for this purpose as well as coffee if the urge strikes. The 20oz size is perfect for this. Cleaning is a breeze thanks to the portable and easy-to-clean design. The detachable components, made of stainless steel and borosilicate glass, are dishwasher-safe, making maintenance hassle-free. Others have had issues with cracks and breaking, but I mostly just rinse it out to be ready for the next use. Hopefully this will extend its life.

I had to replace one, I broke and this one looked exactly the same, just different brand. I have been using it for a month I want to say and it is excellent! Yes, the mesh/press does not go all the way to the bottom, but that's not an issue. It is probably about 1/2 an inch that the press all the way. You'll still get a great/fresh batch of coffee. I always pour the hot water and wait about 5min before pressing. Then I let it sit there for maybe another 10 min, before pouring me some. Also you need good quality coffee, as well. In terms of the French press, I love it and totally recommend. This makes 2 cups(using regular coffee cups).

I enjoy beautiful kitchen tools, and this fit the bill. This review is being posted by Amazon for all the sizes of this coffee press, but I got the 12oz press, which is perfect for making a 10-12 oz. mug of coffee (or 2 standard European cups). Most of my coffee-making is just for me and I make a cup fresh, this size works perfectly for my purposes. I read a review for this press that complained that the screen part of the plunger did not go all the way to the bottom of the glass canister. This complaint reveals inexperience about coffee. Pressing coffee grounds will release such noxious bitterness that the coffee is undrinkable. The plunger ends just above the grounds when the plunger is pushed down - so the grounds never get pressed. Since water goes through the screen of the plunger, I fail to see how this could be a complaint. The liquid coffee below the screen gets poured into your cup anyways if you pour all of it instead of leaving some of the 'cloud' in the press. For some reason I don't understand, the lid has a plastic lining. Since it doesn't come in contact with my brew, it didn't affect my rating. My larger press, by another maker and not as beautiful, has a completely stainless steel lid, so I don't get the plastic.

Finely ground coffee tends to get stuck in the parts and can make it a little difficult to clean. I do wish the press could press down further. This is because if you are making a small cup of coffee there is about one or two centimeters of space that is just water hovering underneath the press so you can't actually "press" the coffee. Other than that, it does the job and is built very durable so I rate it at a 5.

Me gustó mucho el diseño y que es de aluminio y no plástico. La jarrita no se ve frágil, peeeeero deja mucho café en mi taza :( Es la primera prensa francesa que tengo así que no sé si ésto es normal, si compré un café equivocado (molido muy fino) o si de plano está chafa y el filtro que trae no es bueno 🤷🏻‍♀️. Viene con un filtro extra y una cucharita, quería dejar el filtro extra como repuesto, supongo que probaré doble filtro (como en una de las fotos de la descripción) a ver si así hay menos café en la taza. Update: efectivamente con el doble filtro mejora mucho

I have a single cup French press as well as this one for when I have guests over. This one is very easy to clean.
