TURNING AN UNCONVENTIONAL SITUATION ON ITS HEAD
My, my, my Aleatha โฆ the queen of twists has gone and done it again. Pay attention readers because this book turns the conventional into the unconventional with a BDSM twist and a sex therapist at the center. UNCONVENTIONAL is the first book in the Indulgence series and if this story is any indication, weโre in for a wild, erotic ride in the BDSM-lite world, which Iโll dub โbdsm bitesโ for the novella-sized romances. How far will the most popular news anchor in a city go to reach her professional dreams? Apparently, anything it takes. Ericka Ellis is at the top of her game, but plenty of competition is nipping at her heels. That means staying focused on maintaining a great rack, and avoiding all distractions. One of those distractions is Erickโs marriage, namely her boring hubby, who she avoids. It dawns on her that her young marriage is on life support and sheโs just about to the pull the plug because nothing can revive it. But, Ericka should have more situational awareness on the job because thereโs a stalker at the news studio who wants to make her his โฆ and finally makes his move. Just as sheโs about to go home and drop a divorce bombshell on her hubby, stalker Victor Cross kidnaps Ericka and puts her through an unconventional weekend that sheโll never forget. It was more than gratifying to watch bossy Ericka be put in her place by someone who knocks the smug off her face for a change. Where pushing limits and being taken out of her comfort zone have no barriers. She doesnโt have the control she thinks she does, especially when itโs all taken away. And the stalker gives her just the comeuppance she needs โ dare I say what sheโs got coming to her. I certainly sat up and took notice of every detail. Be prepared to watch a grown woman grovel and have your fancy tickled in secret places. It was erotic hot with a good plot twist that Aleatha is known to spring on us without warning. Must say that I actually sided with the stalker and thought that Ericka got off easy in a lesson well-deserved. I love stories that take a left turn and dump me on my fanny. This one will keep you and Ericka off-balance and curious about what the endgame is. A great start to a novella series, with the novella Unexpected to follow.

An Afternoon Delight
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.Erika Ellis is available to everyone, each night, on their TV - news at five thirty and again at six o'clock. Viewers think they know her. They don't, not like I do. I've watched her - closer than the others - not only on the news, but at all hours of the day and night. I've taken my time and learned her routines and her secrets. I know what she needs. I'll bring her fantasies to life, even the ones she's yet to realize. I'll be the one to teach her that in submission there is power. She'll understand that she doesn't need to be primped and primed. My praise is what she'll live for. Bound and helpless is where her freedom will be found. The truth behind the stage makeup and faux laugh is that she's mine - nothing she can do or say will change that. She doesn't know my unconventional plans. That's okay. She will. It's time to make my move. I'm Victor cross, the only man for the job. This is a short novella and a really quick read. It is smoking hot and will have you reading as fast as you can. Erika is a news anchor and she is very focused on her job. So much so that her marriage is suffering and she is not sure that she even wants to save it. She wants to make the big time and he wants a baby. She can't even seems to find the time at times to make it to the marriage counselor. To say she is all about her career is a understatement. This book is told form the point of view of both Erika and Victor who is basically a stalker and has learned all there is to know about Erika. I don't want to give away anything else about this story. Just read it. I bet you will love it as much as I did.

an unconventional romance
Erika Ellis is unhappy, her marriage is lacking. She wants to fix things with her husband. Victor Cross has had his eye on Erika for some time. He knows her deepest and darkest desires and knows he is the man to give them to her.Erika learns her lesson when she is walking alone to her car one night. Victor finally makes his move. Erika is given the opportunity to explore her true desires with this man. Will she be able to trust, obey and submit to this man?Erika and Victor had some EXTREMELY hot chemistry. Seriously, it was kindle melting. Iโd have to say this is probably one of the steamiest books Iโve read in a while. This book was a rather steamy quick read that had me going wtf at the end. There was a twist I was not expecting and I thought I missed something in the story and had to go back and re read a few pages. If youโre looking for a super steamy, bdsm filled novella this is one that Iโd highly recommend.

Yum.
Wow! This novella is one hot trip into the world of alternative marriage counseling ๐๐. With vivid images of D/s it succeeded in raising my temperature while providing a satisfying, albeit brief, introduction to the the 2 lead characters, Erika and Vic. Now for a cold drink! ๐๐

Completely different!
A short, erotic story from Aleatha. Completely different to anything of hers before. It has suspense, erotica and a twist that I personally didn't guess! It's an Aleatha book so it has to have a twist! Lol I can't say much as I don't want to give anything away but I will say I really enjoyed this story story and I highly recommend it.

Disappointed.
Very disappointing. The build up didn't feel true and it was obvious it was the husband who took her. Have read other books by this author which I loved. Won't be reading anymore of this series
