The ab color is not a solid white stone. It has a different types of a hue in the stone while the white stone is clear white.

Q: can this be used on an outside car part, will it stay?

YES!! It will stay. I've had these on the exterior trim of my car, including Emblem and wheels/hubcaps, IT'S STILL ON almost 15 months later. I go through a car wash at least 4 times a week, shine is okay in daylight, AMAZING at night. Get multiple compliments and inquiries. No problem with coating or water resistant, I applied nothing as a protectant on top. I also used the same sheets to trim my interior almost completely. It's been since June 2020 and, knock on wood, no lifting or peeling. Note I live in the south, the summer Temps get up to 130°F in the shade and my car is usually several degrees higher... hope this helps.
