Ive worn out or canned a number of cheap trimmers, this is the best Ive owned. Good directions to open and clean, close trimming, works very well and fast, great choice, and I looked at em all!

I have had many nose hair trimmers in the past, electric and manual. This one runs smoother and is more powerful than all the others (well perhaps not as powerful as a manual trimmer - but does a better job!). Is very efficient and vacuum feature is good and avoids additional clean up (keeps wife/partner happy at least). I think the price is reasonable for a quality item that should last for a decent time. Some of the other electric nose trimmers I have brought over the years May work ok to start with but do not last long - and none of them do as good a job - that is one reason I turned to manual trimmers which work reasonably but are less convenient and can pull at hairs. This one is very pleasant and comfortable to use and easy to clean. Would have been nice if it came with a bag/storage case like some others (I have used one from an old trimmer which no longer works). One other feature which it is missing is eyebrow trimmers - which would be nice but not the main reason I brought this trimmer. Update: January 2024 - trimmer has stopped working. Looks fine, have changed batteries and tried different things to get it to work again with no success. A few times earlier I had to wiggle batteries around to get a good connection but that do not work this time. Had hoped would last longer but did a good job while working.

I had been using an older model Panasonic ear/nose-hair trimmer for over five years until it finally gave up the ghost. This one is even better. It's solidly-built, comfortable to hold, and very effective at the simple task it's designed for--removing small hairs. I didn't have any problem with the noise level--I thought it was fairly quiet--but if, for some reason, you put it deep into your ear it does sound noisy. But for nose hair and hair at the entrance to your ear canal I found it fine. I think it's a good value for what you get. If this one lasts close to five years, like my last one, I'll be very happy with it. In the past two months, it stopped working four times. I puzzled over what to do and considered ditching it. But since it's a nice product and there isn't an obvious replacement to buy, I decided to experiment a bit. The first time it started working again after I removed the battery and reinserted it. The second time this didn't work but rapping the base of the trimmer on a countertop got it working again. The third time, when I hadn't used it for over a week, neither of these solutions worked and I was resigned to ditching it but decided to bank it harder against the countertop and after 5-6 hits it started working again. The fourth time, when I hadn't used for several days, 2 knocks did the trick. It's been working perfectly for about four months since then. I'm mentioning this because other reviews also mentioned this problem (though not the potential solutions), so it may affect your purchase decision and, if you purchase this trimmer, you may need to deal with the problem. I puzzled over what caused the problem and two guesses are that it is either (1) a loose connection between the battery and motor due to low manufacturing tolerances or (2) the lubricant hardens during periods when the trimmer isn't used. But I'm not sure. I have three recommendations. First, consider another trimmer that doesn't have this problem (or worse problems). Unfortunately, I don't recall seeing any. Second, check out the product carefully during the return window so you can exchange it for one that (hopefully) doesn't have this problem. Third, if it's past the return period, try using it regularly and try these solutions before you ditch it.

I'm in my 60's and at that age where more hair seems to grow for my ears and nose than it does on my head. This works great and quickly. Cleans easily, Not much more need be said.

Great product to address nose hair, ear hair and facial hair. (Yes, I know, not a great subject for discussion but ...) I puchased mine four years ago and it does a great job. It's very easy to use. Operates on two AAA alkaline batteries and don't switch to lithium--I tried it and the motor didn't run the same so back to alkalines. I especially like the fact that the trimmer vacuums the clipped hairs but is still washable. It's a little fussy for disassembly and reassembly but if you take your time and don't rush it, it's easy-peasy and makes the cleaning process go much more smoothly. It does a great job trimming unwanted hair and works beautifully. I've used mine every couple of days over the last four years and it still works like new. It is a little more expensive than other nose hair trimmers I've seen (and tried) but it is definitely much higher quality, also.

This was a gift so I have no idea how well the Panasonic Trimmer cuts but seriously in 2026 someone is selling a handheld device that isn't rechargeable? NOWHERE in the photos or displayed headlines or text, does it say it is NOT rechargeable. If you dig deep enough in the collapsed text it does say it requires two AAA alkaline batteries SO I screwed up. I may just keep it because I assumed like all other trimmers I saw on Amazon it was a rechargeable with a micro USB. It also says 40 minutes per disposable battery set which means maybe $20 in Duracells a year? So much for the price reduction! UPDATE: This was for a 80 yo friend. He put the batteries in, took the cover off and the motor worked. He capped it and then went to use it later and the metal trimming cap was stuck in the plastic cover. He said a tiny black plastic prong (blades?) fell out on the floor but couldn't find it. I came to help him, and couldn't budge the embedded metal cap. Will return. This is not a good device for older seniors!

This is a replacement for the same one I bought 12 years ago. Nothing was wrong except that I lost a piece when cleaning (my fault). That shows you how great it is. Replacement works just as great, no issues. Trims fantastic.

This item is great far better than others I've bought on the market. BUT I notice the guarantee states valid only in the USA. This is strange as offered on Amazon I would have thought product would have a worldwide guarantee ?? Therefore buyer beware

My 3rd piece, all kept spoiling and unable to turn on after few months of usage. Lousy
