Great idea
I saw this in a mask making tutorial. on you.tube, and became interested. Hesitated to buy it since there was (at that time, about 5 wks ago) a shipping fee which I did not want to incur. (That's why only 4/5 stars.) But I kept thinking about it whenever I tried the recommended other items for the nose piece. I finally gave in and ordered it, after contacting the seller with questions. The seller responded expeditiously, which impressed me, affirming the quality of the product they sold. Bottom line, the thing flexible wire (copper toned) is well imbedded within the fabric, encasing it completely. The seller attests that it IS easy to cut with a scissor (highly recommended you do not use your sewing scissors; I use an old pair), and it indeed was a breeze to cut into the desired lengths. I tried zig-zag stitch to make it a part of the masks, sewing in inside the two layers at nose end. I also made a nose sleeve, which I sewed onto the inner part of the mask, leaving the sleeve open on short ends. That works well also. Do note: I hand wash our masks, and that is what I recommend to people for whom I make them. I wash in a small basin (hot water, a bit of dish or fabric detergent), swish/rinse twice in warm water, then gently squeeze out water inside a towel. Hang to dry on a hook. CAN use the dryer, but set on low-medium. I do NOT wash masks in machine b/c I don't want the wires in the nose area bent/damaged by the spin cycles. Our masks look great, and this nose fabric/wire is still intact. For the masks that have a nose sleeve, I remove the item before washing. I do place it in the basin so it can "wash" also. Just rinse it, place in a small dish in laundry room. Sounds like work? Well, that's our new normal, and I'm happy to have found this product which eliminates the other (sometimes) crazy ideas for shaping the nose area on masks. I recommend this item because you definitely can get many pcs cut for LOTS of masks (probably more than you will need; I shared with a friend). Bonus buying it now on Amazon: no shipping charge, delivery via PRIME.

Does the job, but hard to sew, and rough on the nose
It serves the purpose. I used the whole length of the 5 yards adding nose wires to the homemade and store-bought face masks I had collected to use during the pandemic for myself and my family. This was the only product I could find that could be directly sewn on without a pocket or just using adhesive. They are VERY difficult to hand sew on. It took me days. I could only sew 2-3 a day because my hand cramped and got sore. I can’t say how they machine sew, but they are so thick and tightly woven I can’t imagine how it wouldn’t break needles and jam my machine. I got them on, and they seemed great - added that bendable feature to my masks. Then, I started going back to work and needing to wear them for much longer than a trip to grocery store. The fabric around the wire is so rough that it rubbed my nose and made it sore. I am now covering all the wires with pieces of satin ribbon to cover the product. Essentially, I’m putting them in a pocket. I’ll still give 4 stars - they have held up to several washings, straightening to dry and store, and then bend again. I’ve had no issues with any of that. But had I known the issues, I probably would have gone with something simpler and cheaper. Let’s just hope we don’t have to wear the masks much longer.

Great for Masks
Well, almost 2 years later and we're still making masks. I've pretty much perfected my personal pattern and the pattern I use for each family member. This product and some soft ear elastics are all I needed to buy to make some great masks (I already had a stash of quilting cottons). We've used and washed our homemade masks a lot and this product has held up well for us. I'm glad to have such a high quality product to use. Before I found this I was contemplating using pipe cleaners. This is much better.

Nose bridge
washable sewable nose strips... i purchased these to install in some cloth masks - but that seems way too big a challenge. I will donate to a friend that makes masks. I liked the fact these are washable.

Pretty durable
I sew the strips to the bridge of my masks. They take the daily abuse and weekly washings.

Double thickness to hold mask in place
At a single thickness, I didn't find it stiff enough to keep my glasses from fogging, which means a lot of air is getting out around the nose. I started using double-thickness (make a loop, flatten with the seam off-center) and I'm more satisfied. I sew them on with the machine, and I haven't had any trouble, other than sometimes needing to use the hand wheel to start the first stitch (the flywheel inside the machine manages just fine after that). I sew using size 3 zigzag and then reverse the whole stitch for extra security. Important: sew this on the outside of the mask or inside the seam. The fabric is a stiff polyester, not comfortable next to your skin.

No more foggy glasses
Wearing glasses with masks is a challenge. Our glasses always fog up. I finally bought this strip to sew onto our masks. I just cut a few inches of the strip, easily sewed it on the bridge part of the masks, and it made a huge difference: no more foggy glasses! The strip is flexible enough that one can squeeze it to perfectly mold the shape of the nose and prevent any air from escaping. We all have different shaped noses, and this strip will make the mask fit snuggly around the nose. It's easy to sew on since the copper wire is in a cotton sleeve (unlike the metal strips), and it's washable too! Worth taking the time to sew on.

Has Held Up Through Several Washings
I was skeptical of the wire staying put when the masks went through the washer and dryer but to my amazement it has held up beautifully. Initially, I hand sewed this into the masks but the white fabric is thick and it is awkward for me to use a thimble. I have since used the sewing machine and it makes easy work of getting the wire on the masks; I do reinforce the ends of the mask 2 or 3 times because I am concerned about the wire staying put although I have not had any issues to date.

Best nose strips ever!
I have bought this product several times in the 5 yard length. It is so amazing to work with that I have now bought it in the 50 yard package. It is perfect for use with fitted masks - I zigzag sew a piece of this strip into the nose area of the lining of the mask and it works very, very well. I have tried many other products and nothing works as well as this.
