Great scope and great value
I already had the SWFA super sniper 10x scope and found it to be the best that I have ever used (retired leo). I received the SWFA SS 1-4x24 and mounted it on an ACC 300 blk out. It preformed magnificently so much so that my 10 year old granddaughter who is aspiring to be a 3 gun competitor wanted to use it. Well she out shot most of the older guys at the range and fell in love with the scope. After using this at the range she pleaded with me to let her have it on her ar 15 she said that the ACOG that was on there wasn't as good as this scope. Now it is on her ar 15 platform, so much for me using it. The scope is extremely tough and maintains zero after numerous .30 caliber rounds are fired. I would recommend SWFA scopes especially when you compare price to what you get from the unit in function and clarity, these scopes can allow you to maintain shot groups at 100 yards under a quarter. I hope that they will get more in in the future as my grandson will need one for his at 15 as he gets more into shooting sports. One thing I found was that if mounting on a flat top rail that the best mount I found was the America Defense AD-Recon 30mm, It is a solid mount and gives the scope the proper elevation needed.

hoorah. go seals.
like the features. like the price. like its operation. turrets work great. easy to adjust. haven't had to range yet. if I can shoot good with it and if it holds its zero I will give this scope 5 stars. I read some articles about this scope. originally designed for Navy Seals, go Navy. the scope is not the most expensive out there but the optics are reportedly mounted so they cannot be dislodged by rough use in the field. it is reported that the operators that have used the scope like it. has a great illuminated reticle also.

I'd recommend this scope for a 5
Well made product clear glass . SFP scope . That's the key difference between is and the vortex viper 1-4 . With the FFP . You can't go wrong with either . Unfortunately you won't find swfa at your local shop to compare the 2 . I've gone back and forth with this and my vortex viper 2.5 -10 x 32 on my 2 rifles and I can't tell a difference in glass . I'd recommend this scope for a 5.56 or a 308 . I'm about done building my 300 blk and I will try it out on it and see how the diamond works with it and do an update .Update. Finally hit the range . Zeroed in at 25 yards with subsonic 220 & 208 grain 300 blk rounds with the top of the diamond and was dead on at 100 yards at the bottom of the diamond . So for anyone thinking about using this on a 300blk rifle with a silencer the diamond still functions well .

Great purchase!! Definitely buy it
This scope is an excellent optic that closes the gap of room clearing, to medium distance shooting. The picture above is a decent grouping for a 10” SBR from 100yds I got yesterday.I like the clarity of the glass, and the reticle does a great job of pulling your focus to the middle. Having mil/mil turrets and reticle makes for holds being simple and easy. I also like the throw handle that comes with it because it makes switching between powers really easy and simple. This is an all around great scope for a carbine and the price point is very reasonable.

Excellent value
I own four SWFA scopes in fixed powers and am very happy with them. This is the first I’ve gotten with variable power and lighted reticle, and it does not disappoint. The glass quality rivals other scopes I have which cost four times as much. The reticle is cleanly etched and easy to use. The turrets are crisp, and like every SWFA SS, the tracking is perfect. Honestly, I can find no weakness in this excellent optic and recommend it wholeheartedly.

Love the scope but no lens caps
I had specifically asked if the scope came with lens cap covers. I asked if it did not, what is the size of the diameters so I can purchase covers…. I got a single word response of “yes”. Meaning “yes” there are scope covers included….. however package received and no scope covers. Love everything else about the scope though!

Top of the heap for 1x-4x under $1000
I was in the market for a1-4 scope with true 1x. I had narrowed my choice down to the Vortex Viper 1-4, until I handled it in person. The reticle was too small and hard to see, and not daylight bright. I also couldn't get the eyepiece to focus on 1x. I left disappointed. The SWFA was my alternate, but not available in any store for me to examine. I disliked the vortex so much in the store, I decided to take a chance on the SWFA. What a great surprise. The reticle is excellent, larger than the vortex, much brighter, true 1x, and has a built in throw lever. The glass is equal quality with the Vortex. The turrets are tight with distinct clicks. I find it almost as fast as an aimpoint on 1x as long as you maintain your cheek weld. I love this scope so much I'm considering replacing an Aimpoint on another rifle with a second SWFA.
