Tasty and easy to eat for seniors
I have started feeding this twice a day to my senior cat who at this point needs a good quality, easy to eat food to get as much nutrients as possible. This fits the bill. The texture is smooth so there is nothing for him to struggle to chew. He loves the flavor. I can easily mix his liquid supplements in it. I like that it has omega 3’s and pumpkin in it. It’s not as smelly as other wet foods. The packaging is durable but easy to open. I am able to easily squeeze it out into his bowl. It is a bit pricey to keep up with but it’s worth it to keep my senior kitty as healthy as possible.

Good food
Cat really liked these! Very easy to feed. We only stopped because we found out he has CKD and we needed to switch to a food that supported his kidneys.

Great but to messy and expensive.
11 year old kitty loves them. Helps keep her from vomiting all the time. Fur is healthier when eating this too. But unfortunately it’s just too expensive and the portions are weird. A peel top container would be better. Especially for the price. $1 per pouch would be better since it’s under not even 4oz per pouch. As it stands, it’s $2 per pouch and each pouch is not enough food per day for my girl.

Wow… 17 yr old cat actually eats it. Long review but hopefully informative?
So my 17 yr old cat was not eating much and was getting quite thin. I knew she didn’t like to crunch on the dry kibble anymore, and other wet foods she wasn’t too keen on either. I asked my vet if I should feed her kitten food to help her gain weight (my ignorance) and she said that cat food for seniors is easier to digest, it’s not just about the calories. She said to check out a mousse texture for cat food because older kitties can lick it rather than chew it. I thought I was a super cat mom but I had never heard of mousse cat food. Is it new? Idk lol I would previously try to entice her with more liquidy ‘toppers ’ on her food but she would only eat the topper. These other ‘topper’ products are not ‘complete foods’ meaning they are mostly oil and broth and aren’t a substitute for a balanced cat food. So I looked up cat mousse food, the benefits to senior cats, and found this Tiki Cat Silver one in Salmon. The reviews were great all around. And she immediately loved it. CAT PARENT VICTORY Yayyy lol so jazzed I didn’t waste more money on food she won’t eat! And she’s actually excited to eat, follows me into kitchen, and that’s been years since that was the case. She is able to lick the food and I know and trust she’s getting the nutrients she needs. Bonus: No throwing up afterward and TMI but her poops are super normal and not as hard as they were. I can tell it’s good for her health. The only kicker is the packaging like many other reviews here have mentioned. It comes in a foiled pouch with way too much food for a days amount. Best practice in our house is empty rest of contents into a container in fridge and when I serve her next day, put her portion in microwave for 8 seconds to get the texture back and she’s had no issues eating it. But seriously, Tiki Cat owner peoples, listen to us cat folks please! consider changing packaging to a screw top pouch. Then this food would (at least in this house) be PURRRRRfect. Had to :)

Great for flat-faced cats
I have two exotic shorthairs and one of them has trouble eating wet food. They've gotten Blue Buffalo for most of their lives. The one cat will lick up the gravy of the kind with morsels and push around the pate kind and not be able to get all of it. I'm not sure if it's because of his flat face, his laziness, his tiny brain, or some combination. I've tried so many types of food and have had to stand there ready to push it into a more appetizing pile for him no matter what kind. Until this mousse! He eats it all up without problems. I give him half a bag in the mornings since they get dry food all day. He finishes his portion and then shoves his sister away from her (different kind of) wet food and eats that. Somehow he's able to eat the food when it's not his. This stuff is more expensive, but it's worth it for my sanity.

Overall good food, but cat won't touch anything with pumpkin
My 17 year old cat has developed a tumor and has stopped eating much. She loves the Delectables Senior Bisque, so I decided to try this Tiki Cat mousse to get her onto something a little more nutritious and healthy. Unfortunately she does not like pumpkin at all. We had previously tried her on a pumpkin powder mixed into her canned foods, and though she ate them at first, she started to lose all interest in any food with it in it. I was hoping the Tiki Cat would be better as the pumpkin is mixed in, but no dice. I am trying other flavors without pumpkin. I did like the consistency of the Senior Cat variety which is runnier like the bisque, as the chicken and tuna one I am currently trying is like a slightly mushier pate and very thick comparably. She's on a steroid right now and ravenous, and wolfed down the first chicken and tuna flavored pack I tried (still would not touch the Senior chicken and pumpkin flavor), so I will update later with the results of that flavor.
