Different to assemble. Not as sturdy as I hoped.
The beds are very pretty. With lots of work and buying proper ankers they were sturdy. My granddaughters love them. Don't like that the screws show.

Make sure you schedule a whole bunch of time to put this thing together.
This is a very good looking set up and most of the bed is made with real wood (the storage steps have some particle board parts). The set arrived in 3 separate boxes (one of them arrived a week later than the rest). Only one of the boxes contains the hardware so be VERY careful while opening the crates. Ours had red thread attached to the hardware bags. Each box has its own set of directions and the translation from Vietnamese to English is NOT GOOD. Yes, these are made in Vietman, so if you're a vet of that era you may not want to purchase them.Take your time and lay out all the parts, and hardware. The hardware bags have tiny (and I mean tiny) pieces of paper in them with the designated part number (or letter) on them. Be very wary while opening the bags. You'll want to assemble these beds with at least two people as there are many steps and some require holding up partially assembled parts to attach to other parts. My wife and I spent somewhere around 3-4 hours assembling both beds and the steps. It is a very long process which is not helped by the fact that the screw heads are Allen wrench and the wrench provided is very small. My hands were literally numb by the time we were done.I weigh around 190 and wouldn't dare to climb up onto the top bunk. The cross members are not very thick and the legs of the bed are quite thin, probably 2x3. A few of the bolts were the wrong length and I will have to cut them down to be able to use them. There was no extra hardware included with these units. So be careful. If you lose anything then you're screwed (pun intended). These are at my summer/winter cottage and I'll add picks the next time I'm there.

Perfect
This bunkbed is good looking and sturdy. It was a bit challenging to put together only because there are no written directions, only pictures, numbers, and letters. However, my husband and I figured it our over a few days since we were in no rush.

Not super sturdy and hard to assemble, but it’s still pretty nice.
Assembly was awful. Parts were mislabeled, and the instructions were often unclear, sometimes with a hardware image totally missing. I had to take apart the whole thing and rebuild it after I guessed wrong on one step that was unclear. At one point you have to screw into a small dowel rod to attach the stair railing, and it just shatters under the pressure. The bed overall is very wobbly, but it looks nice. There could very easily have been thicker, sturdier beams. There were some quality control issues too with running paint or scratches.I love that the full bed was not attached, as I didn’t need it and sold it.The storage under the stairs is long and fits a lot, but the biggest compartment (the bottom stair) doesn’t even have a way to open it. I just left the cover off it so that it can be accessed and not wasted.

Horrible unstable
This bed was broke immediately after buying hard to put together and the rails were so thin this bead broke some of the holes for the screws were to big so they don't hold in place I wish I would have got my money back for this purchase but I waited untill we moved to put it together (about 6 months) do yourself a favor and don't purchase from this company its so cheaply made doesn't even look good!

Love the final look but hard to assemble
Love the final assembled look of the product. It was tough to assemble with only pictures in the instructions. Good value for the money

Fun for when they are short
Whew this took a long time for my husband and I to assemble. 2 mathematical people with the proper tools and yet . . .so plan to spend a very long day assembling. Read thoroughly. If you get 1 picture wrong ( since it lacks verbal directions) you will have to take it all apart. My son loves it! It doesn't feel sturdy like our other wood furniture...but it was cheap so you get what you pay for. However it doesn't feel like it will break so we are ok with that.It However is very low! So expect your child will hit his head when getting up at night. It is not a normal height bunk!!! My son who is 4 feet (1st grade) woke us up screaming when he banged his head-he banged it into the perpendicular top bunk when he sat up quickly on his full bed. So now he is forced to sleep with a night light.Just know...your child won't use this for long (so we are happy we didn't buy the 1200 one. Lol)
