Tastes horrible and smells as bad but is OK with fresh mint and it is fine. It really does help you sleep and that was the reason to try it.I knew from the reviews about the smell and taste so went in with my eyes wide open.Lot of it so will last a long time and as it comes loose, you can vary the amount you use.

I've been suffering with poor sleep for some time now and have tried practically everything on the market. I read the reviews but I wasn't convinced this would work until I came across a review that stated it took a few days for the tea to start working. The first night i took it I felt a bit drowsy but I didn't sleep well. The second night was a bit hit and miss, I fell asleep but woke up nearly every hour. The third night I was knocked out fairly quickly and slept in the following morning. This really does work but it did take a few nights. I'm a tea connoisseur so I really liked this product. I didn't think it smelt bad at all and it had a lovely smokey taste to it. I used a good couple of teaspoons and brewed for a good ten minutes. Considering it's a natural product, I am more than impressed with the results.

This item arrived and was well packaged. It is as expected, roots that would be easy to measure, brew and drink. I have used this before. A healthy option to calm down.

Oh god the smell!!!🤢 I know the reviews I read said the smell is an aqured taste but wow it really is smelly.I can recon it to pine and old Ditch water,but enough of the smell ,the effectiveness of the tea is pretty good ,for me it makes me doopy so I'm guessing it's doing its job fairy well.Though I'm finding it difficult to get through the full amount of tea because the scent really puts me off,so all in all of you can hold your nose or put a peg on it go for it!have a try .

I have read that this herb is very good for calming the nervous system and that it helps with anxiety in a subtle way over the course of time. I had my first cup of tea made with ashwagandha today. I put 2 teaspoons of the root into a large teapot of boiling water and left it to brew for ten minutes. The taste was pleasant and woody. I found sipping the tea and savouring it’s flavour a relaxing experience in its own right. I believe that it is best to build up your tolerance to larger doses over time. I turned to my partner to ask him what he thought of the tea (he suffers from high anxiety due to suffering a stroke) and he was blissfully snoozing away in his chair. I think that this herb has a big thumbs up from us and I will be looking forward to my next cup.

I’ve been using valerian root infusions for years. It’s the second time I buy this item from this brand on Amazon. Last time, the valerian root was fine, and I was very pleased. This time, it is cut with pieces of wood. The smell, the flavour and the efficiency is diminished. It is disappointing, as I thought I had found a reliable brand. I will now look somewhere else.

Clean root mix. One serious issue - despite Amazon description it's not certified organic.

I dont know what people complaining about smell. For me personally it is fine. Taste also. And I am sleeping almost as baby. Normally I dont. Great tea.
