SIEMENS 2P 60A 240V General Duty Safety Switch Outdoor, Non-Fusible

Good heavy duty action. Use these professionally.

Hardware store only carries 30 amp disconnects. Needed a 50 amp or more rated outdoor enclosure so grabbed this. It's a relatively small box but plenty of room if you take your time.

I did not like the blade type disconnect. If you touched my old disconnect, it would shut the AC unit off, and come back on again. There’s very poor contacts in the blade disconnects, however, the lever action makes a very good connection.

This Seimens 60a disconnect works great. Only problems are its way over priced as are just about everything and it should have 2 KOs on the bottom which is easily fixed with a unibit. I will buy again due to the on/off handle on side. I like the quality construction.

this was the perfect extra duty for my new hot water heater shut off. easy to mount and wire up. has the ability to be pad locked. great feature for safety.

It’s the perfect size for mounting on a 6X6 post as a quick and easy disconnect switch for our hot tub. Plenty of room inside the box for wiring.I like the industrial look of it, going to order another one for my hard wired shop air compressor so I can turn it off at this switch instead of the little lever on the pressure switch.

I used 4 gauge wire and it was a tight fit. The included ground lug could maybe fit 4 gauge, but in this tight space it made more sense to replace it with a slightly larger one from the big box store for an extra $6. If you’re using 4 gauge ground, just swap for the larger lug.Punch outs are on the left and bottom, max 1”. Make sure you tap them loose from the inside, then you can grab with pliers

my fourth disconnect and has worked flawlessly, Original ITE installed 60 years ago which is now siemens. Quality of product speaks for itself.
