True Worshipers: Seeking What Matters to God

Wonderful Words of Worship
This is a wonderful book about the most wonderful of topics: the worship of almighty God, the One True God who alone is worthy of all praise!Biblically rooted, clearly written, soul-inspiring the text moves from the 'what' of worship, to the 'who' of worship, the 'how' of worship, and concludes in the 'why' of worship. Thanks Bob Kauflin for helping the people of God, made in His image, for His worship, understand better how to worship our glorious God.

An easy and compelling read, written by a knowledgeable and experienced worshiper.
This was a truly insightful read. As a worship leader in a local church, I read and listen to a pretty large number of books, podcasts, blog posts, etc. on the topic. It can be pretty easy to find material that argues the extreme ends of what is often portrayed as a linear spectrum between "old" and "new"; between "freedom" and "compulsion"; and between the "individual" and "the collective". But in recent years I've been thoroughly impressed with Kauflin's Sovereign Grace Music ministry and the excellence they demonstrate in balancing the timeless with the timely, so I picked this book up to dig a little deeper into Bob's philosophy. Not surprisingly, I found throughout this book a wonderful balance of a grace-filled and yet purpose-driven approach to the topic of our personal and congregational worship. Kauflin's pastoral heart shines through from cover to cover.

Best of the Best
I was completely undone by this book. One the best books for worship leaders I have come across. Perfect for the pastor and worship leader (and team) to read together. Helps worship leaders understand their real purpose. Practical helps for all dynamics required of a WL. Most importantly, it deals with getting the main thing right first: the heart.

Insightful!
I've enjoyed reading this with my worship team. It helped us all to re-focus and prompted many conversations about WHY we do what we do. Easy read.

So needed in my life.
Not quite finished reading it yet, but it’s more than what I could have expected. Truly my worship is being transformed as Christian and as a musician.

I feel more compelled to read the word and worship in truth that Jesus is the focal point in showing us the Father. He is worthy of praise and this book refocuses the worshipper on Jesus and not on skill or attitude, it's about humility, his work, his word and his grace

Required reading
Love Bob’s heart for the church regarding the subject of “worship”. Along with his book Worship Matters, True Worshipers is certainly required reading for anyone involved in leading others in worship.
