Dragon Ball Z - Movie Pack Collection Three (Movies 10-13)

DBZ Movies
As the DragonBal series is a very long series, the series also has movies. Aside from the regular DragonBall cast, the main character in the DragonBall movies seems to be the villain Broly. With this, you can watch 2 of the 3 DBZ movies Broly is in. Both of those Broly movies comes in 1 disc. There are 2 other discs for the other 2 movies, Fusion Reborn, and Wrath of the Dragon. While we can all say for the DragonBall series that it has long fights, and lots of episodes. With the movies, you can see the action you see on the T.V. show, but not as long, and fights with characters we mostly don't know in the T.V. show. The movies fit in with the DragonBall Universe, but they don't seem like they'd fit into the DragonBall main timeline. They're entertaining to watch, but I feel that the T.V. show is more entertaining than the movies. With a series as big as DragonBall that aired years ago, it's nice to see it has movies too, that are like under an hour. I think these movies aired years ago in Japan at the movie theaters, as the DragonBall series aired in Japan, before it became a worldwide phenomenon. I don't think many Americans knew about the DragonBall series before it aired on Cartoon Network.A thing I've noticed about these D.B.Z. movies still on the screen. You'd notice it too. When you used to go to the movie theaters, while watching a movie, you'd notice a black circle pop up on the screen, they're called cue marks. There'd be like 2 right next to each other as a scene was about to change. I noticed how you'd see them at the movie theaters, and they wouldn't stay for the final formatted version after the movie was released from the movie theater and on Video, DVD. The cue marks seemed to go up to the early 2000s, now it's all digital. Despite cue marks not making the final cut of the movie after it was released from the movie theaters, these DBZ movies still include the cue marks on these DVD versions. If you got the DVDs and watch these movies, you'd notice it too. An indication that unlike the episodes, these were released in the theater.A review for these D.B.Z. movies I got on disc, and I talked about cue marks. A random topic, but I'm surprised the final released version kept them in. Anyway, DBZ is a good series. If you like the series at all, you should definitely check out these movies. A reason I bought this in the first place, was to watch the fight with the villain Janemba. He isn't Broly, but he came across as interesting in his 2nd form, and I like how he can do something called, "Bunkai Teleport," He can fade, breaking into cubes similar to instant transmission, and avoid getting attacked by doing so. It's just interesting how he fades breaking into cubes! One other thing to mention about these movies. It seems that all the movies start with a logo you don't see on the T.V. show before starting. They all seem to start with the Toei Animation Logo, seeing the ocean and a wave crashing into rocks. There was one D.B.Z. scene where they showed this on an episode, when there was a reenactment of the Cell Games at the World Tournament. You heard, "Waves And Rocks," before the reenactment started. From what I've heard, that opening logo was shot at Cape Inubo in Japan.Well, thanks if you read my review. I might have written some random things. But, these are things I've noticed about the DragonBall movies on disc.

Ignore the “missing a movie” reviews
When I first opened the case I thought the same, but then I looked at the disc, both “Broly: second coming” and “bio Broly” are on one disc.

Nostalgic
The fact that you can choose between the OST of the english release and the japanese release is amazing for those who prefer one or the other, looks beautifully remastered and I can't recommend it more for any DBZ fan

Not the original.
There good movies, but it doesn't have the original American dub soundtracks, real bummer...

Movie Pack 3
