The Day My Soldering Iron Went from Zero to Hero
I used to look at circuit boards the same way I look at advanced calculus—completely baffled and mildly terrified. BGA rework, reballing, reflow… that all sounded like specialized wizardry way beyond my humble skill set. Yet there I was, staring at a dead GPU that needed resurrecting, fully prepared for a comedic disaster of burnt fingers and smoking components. Then I discovered this liquid flux, and my soldering universe flipped on its head. The first time I used it, I felt like I’d stumbled onto the secret ingredient in an ancient alchemy recipe. One drop of this stuff, and my solder started flowing exactly where I wanted it. I didn’t realize flux could be so obedient—it was like it was politely asking, “Where to, boss?”That’s when I decided to tackle the dreaded BGA rework for my ailing graphics card. A bit of flux here, a gentle nudge with my hot air station there, and suddenly those solder balls fell into perfect alignment as if performing a synchronized swim. No bridging, no burnt pads, no meltdown. For the first time in my life, I felt like I was playing on “easy mode” in a process that’s usually reserved for the soldering elite.Emboldened by this success, I ventured deeper: reballing another chip, performing some microsoldering repairs on a friend’s GBU board—things I used to only watch on YouTube, mouth agape. With this flux in my arsenal, everything just clicked into place, quite literally. And because it’s halogen free and lead free, I didn’t feel like I was unleashing a chemical apocalypse in my tiny workshop. In the end, my formerly useless GPU sparked back to life, sending glorious pixels dancing across my screen. I sat there, triumphant, wondering how on earth I’d gone so long without this magical little bottle in my tool kit. Sure, I still might not crack advanced calculus, but at least I can bring a fried circuit board back from the brink—and with style. Now, I’ve learned one big lesson: if your soldering iron feels more like a wand, this flux is the spell that makes the magic happen. Your resurrected electronics (and your newly boosted confidence) will thank you.

Works very well at high temperatures. Doesn't burn
Overall it's good flux for BGA reflow or general surface mount component work. Not smokey at all. Doesn't burn at up high temperatures but you'll have to clean the board quite thoroughly after because the left over flux that spreads around especially if you're using hot air is very sticky.

Good but
Good but it came as a "gel" because of the temperature. you have to preheat the syringe to have a proper liquid. Or if you live in a hot country put it on the sunlight for a little while
