Discharge hose to short.
The produce works great except for the discharge hose. Had to place a extended funnel in my gas can to drain my generator.

new hand siphon pump
I'm not impressed with this siphon hose. It appears things just get less better... Newer is certainly not better. I h had a siphon hose that got lost/misplaced that had a large bulb that you just squeezed and boy did it work. This gets the job done but hardly.

This may not be an accurate assessment because I haven't used it yet but it does seem a little flimsy to hold up very long

Doesn't hold the siphon
I grew up with this type of siphon in Japan to fill our portable kerosene heaters. The quality isn't what it use to be. Mine won't hold a siphon but I think I know where the leak is and will attempt to fix it.

Great Gadget!
Just what I needed to empty the buckets around my spa lid to catch the condensation drips from the lid. Our Spa is indoors and it drips constantly at certain points.

Inexpensive and versatile
I bought this pump for use with my rain barrel. It works very well. 1 or 2 squeezes starts the siphon flow and it takes over from there. Even when the water level is too low to maintain a siphon, the squeeze pump will still work. I emptied out a koi pond using mine.

won't buy it again
just not as good as I had hoped for, price was right, just didn't like to take a flow nor keep it for my dozen guppy tanks-didn't send it back, but sure would not buy one again
