Numark pt-01 scratch Easy install & fits good. Not as loud as I thought it would be.

The speaker is okay, not the upgrade I was hoping for, and slightly better than what it replaced. I had to make some adjustments to the posts to secure the outer case. Probably my least favorite performing mod, but it works.

I purchased these speakers for install in an outdoor kiosk situation, they were to replace speakers of another brand that had gone bad over about six months of being installed. I purchased 30 of these after testing against three other brand speakers and deciding these sounded best, and seemed most robust out of the bunch. I installed them all, and about 19 of them are in outdoor kiosks, the others are indoor. They have now been in for a year and I have had zero problems with them. Zero. After having so much trouble with the prior speakers these are an amazing improvement and I could not be happier. These are installed over fife states, with rain and snow around plenty and they are still going strong. Well worth the cost to me anyway, and I will get these / this brand first when I need more for other applications! Sound quality is great with minimal distortion when set louder than is comfortable to listen to for my uses anyway. If you need good sound, this size, and for some reason need it to also be weather resistant then you may just be looking at your perfect speaker, I am.
