U-Reach Pro118 mini portabel, stand alone, Hard disk duplicator
Great product, works well, copy master drive to target with option to copy data only, and skip errors.I succeeded to copy with it drives that start to go bad. It is not a recovery device, but as first aid on site is very powerful tool. There are low price duplicator, but they make a full copy, and with 2TB drive that has 200GB, they take forever to complete. The PRO118, will copy only the data to the target hard disk, save many hours. It does have the option to skip errors, which is useful when there are bad areas on the master drive.Great product, for reasonable price

Not Worth the Money
I was looking for something that could clone hard drives QUICKLY. This device is very well made, but I found these major shortcomings.1) I knew they said that it will only clone to a hard drive of the same or greater size. I texted with the manufacturer and asked them if I verified that the disk didn't have any partitions or anything else past, say 200GB, could I clone a 1TB disk onto a 250GB SSD. They said that as long as i took care to wipe out everything pass 200GB, it would clone. But it didn't. Said the target was not big enough.2) I mostly wanted this to assist in replacing conventional hard drives with SSDs. Most computers today come with 1TB disks, which of course are WAY bigger than the average person needs. I wanted to be able to replace them with an affordable 250GB SSD, or maybe even smaller if I know the person is never going to accumulate that much data. The problem is that with this device I can only replace a 1TB conventional disk with a 1TB SSD. Today I can get a 250GB SSD for $55; a 1 1TB costs $130. So I am forced to charge my client $75 more to upgrade them, while needlessly providing them with space they will never use.3) Well, having to buy too big of an SSD might still pay off IF this thing was fast. I tested it cloning a 160GB disk onto a 1TB disk and it took 51 minutes! Maybe I'm doing something wrong because others have claimed faster performance than this. Nevertheless, I could back up a 160GB disk with Acronis AND restore it onto a different disk in less time than that. And not have to buy an unnecessarily large drive. AND not have to pay $240 for a piece of hardware to do it.So, I'll probably return it unless someone can tell me how to alleviate one of the above shortcomings.

very disappointed that it did not come with them and the ...
I would give it 5 stars if I could find the IDE to SATA adaptors that fit this thing. very disappointed that it did not come with them and the the cables it comes with does not easily connect to any of the IDE to sata adaptors I have. **Update**1/22/22 - this thing has been bagging around in car for work daily for years now and it still works and I did eventually find the adaptors.

it works great.
There are some cases where this device does not detect partitions properly when trying to copy just the data, even if copying to a larger hard drive, it can throw an error that the destination drive is too small. Generally this is with a EUFI partition. As for dynamic partitions, they don't work reliably either. In these cases you'll need to make sure the source partition has been shrunk to less than the size of the destination drive, then use the "percentage" copy ,and calculate out the size of the source drive partitions in percent that will not exceed the size of the destination drive.Other than that, it works great.

Fantastic product!
I had the IQ-112, that is the lite version of this. This product is a must for everyone that works with IT. The main difference about this one and the IQ112, is that with this one you can erase the HDD. There are a bit more options, but the main reason you must have is... You can clone your HDDs in a VERY fast speed! Its much more speed than other regular software tools, like ghost and acronis. It is bad block tolerant, you can clone different size HDDs. Very good product. Cant live without these tools anymore!

A must-have tool for a field tech!
This is an awesome tool to take along with me when I need to take a quick image of a hard drive. I haven't timed the transfer rate but most large SSDs that I image only take about 25 minutes to image. I'm very impressed with this!

I can clone a 500GB drive in 16 minutes and have a new PC setup and running in 20. Nice piece of hardware!
