I do like how this tames the frizzy hair a bit. It really does take very little, it doesn't leave hair greasy, oily, angry, grouchy. It does however add enough to your hair that tomorrow morning when you wake up your previously crazy hair is now Chewbacca on a bad hair day. Sure, it styles my hair in my sleep! So I'm thinking this just wasn't the product for me. That being said it's a good product that doesn't weigh hair down, doesn't make it feel gross and tames the frizzies a bit, also doesn't take much, so I don't think it's fair to rate it low. I'm taking one star off because it does kinda give the impression it's more controlling than it is. Maybe it's because of my over bearing mother and going to a Catholic school that has my idea of controlling skewed, but this to me shouldn't be labeled control... Or maybe it's my hair, who knows. So yeah... I hope that helped you out made you laugh, either way it's a win for me. Have a great day! I only use a fingertip worth at a time, so this usually lasts me 4-5 months (or longer). I am asian and have thick, straw-like hair that doesn't cooperate. This stuff works pretty well to style my hair! I've been using it for about 18 months now.

This is secret gel. Hair goes where I want and a jar lasts a long time. Holds all day. Cost is low for what you get. Leaves hair looking a little wet but it depends on amount you use. Not sticky but more like wax.

Looks nice on my hair and works really well
I really like this wax on my short hair instead of paste. The scent is pleasing too. Little goes a long way.

Great product that I was sent by mistake
I originally received this product in error two shipments ago. I had used their product with "5 hold 8 shine". Because it would have cost more to process a refund and reship the other product, we settled on my keeping this one. Best "mistake" ever. This version (7 hold 7 shine) is much softer. The other 5/8 feels more wax based and leaves a more rigid feel to your hair. This one (7/7) is more pliable in the jar, easy to apply, and softer but holds the style. It does a little more fragrance than the 5/8 but it is very subtle and fresh. It wouldn't offend or bother anyone who either prefers non-fragrant products or doesn't want a product that could clash with their other beauty products. This company has many versions (5/8, 7/7 etc) so rather than chasing ever beauty supply house, I just order it on Amazon. The price is fair and delivery is alway quick.

Nice hold for very short hair
I read the reviews and decided to try this for my very short hair. I’m glad I did. It is just enough hold snd not a greasy feeling. Very light weight

If you have freezy hair and need some definded curls after you curled your hair would remove the freezy hair just use little bit because if you use to much would make your hair oily

Benutze Control Maniac bereits einige Jahre, komme mit dem blauen Wachs gut zurecht. Kann dieses Produkt empfehlen, bei kurzen Haaren super!
