Purchased as a gift for my daughter in law who enjoyed solving the puzzle with her daughter

I spent a good hour trying to figure out how to open this. Each step has a clue which are really satisfying once figured out. The box has to opened in sequence as all the clues lead on to the next which removed room for error! Naturally, once you are done a little bit of the mystery and fun disappears but a few of the steps need figuring out again. Once the last clue has been worked out you can remember it to open the box easily in one step to then hide something inside for the next person to try and open. I would definitely buy a new one if it comes out!

Bought it as a present for my brother who likes puzzles. He was very pleased with a game. Great little puzzle. Have some tips and clues if struggling l will defo buy another one for his next birthday.

I would love to give this 5 starts but I cant bring myself to do so. I actually solved the puzzle pretty quickly, I did enjoy though it was my type of logic puzzle for sure. I don't know what I'm exactly supposed to be awarded in the end, but if what I got was the prize, then the prize leaves a lot to be desired. (At least in my case) However, its a great gift idea, as this is what I'm doing with my friend for his birthday. I will solve the puzzle again and put a more personal, better prize inside. I am concerned that these products may get solved and returned to amazon and end up back on the shelf ready to be picked for someone elses order next. You might find an unwanted prize (like a severed finger) :'D If you know you can get an alternative use out of this, like gifting it to someone else after you've solved and reassembled it then definitely worth, the fun of solving it and getting a friend/family member a gift too. I Would definitely recommend it.

I collect mechanical puzzles, and for the enjoyment and cleverness of the solve, this is one of the best value for money puzzles I own. Multiple steps and methods required to open the box, including some code cracking. one thing that caught me out was not payng enough atention to the eye... Once opened there is a storage space around 4x4x1 cm so you can hide your treasures :) I highly recommend this as an affordable introduction to the world of mecanical and sequential discovery puzzles.

This is a very short lived experience. Only about 3 puzzles before it's solved. Nicely made, looks complex but really isn't worth the money. We've had more joy completing Escape room games on the iPad than this thing. Once solved, it's confined to the games cabinet for uncles to break at Xmas.

Wasn’t sure what to expect but certainly wasn’t disappointed. Took a few days of on and off puzzling to complete it (and a lucky break when I turned it over and some parts dropped out which I had actually got aligned without realising) and it was very satisfying to finally reveal the surprise inside. Needed the video to reassemble it, but was then able to pass it on to my brother to enjoy. Would certainly try another one.

A fun gift for the children, one idea is to hide a gift or money inside. Says can be solved in 60 mins, took a little longer for me.

J’ai offert cette Cluebox Schrödinger’s Cat à mon frère fan d’énigmes et de casse-têtes, et il a adoré ! C’est un très bel objet en bois, bien fini, qui intrigue dès qu’on le voit. Il s’est tout de suite pris au jeu et a passé environ une heure à résoudre les différentes étapes. Le niveau de difficulté est parfait pour quelqu’un qui découvre les puzzles de ce genre : stimulant sans être frustrant. Les mécanismes sont astucieux, et chaque solution apporte une petite satisfaction. C’est aussi une super idée de cadeau original, ça change des jeux classiques et ça fait travailler les méninges. D’après son retour, l’expérience était fluide, sans bug ni pièce cassée (à condition d’être soigneux). Il envisage déjà d’en essayer d’autres dans la collection. ✅ En résumé : un cadeau qui fait son effet, beau, intelligent et divertissant. Je recommande sans hésiter pour tout amateur d’énigmes ou d’escape games ! Seul bémol le tarif un peu élevé
