Off Limits (The Scottish Billionaires Book 1) Kindle Edition

There is a growing trend among romance authors these days. They give you one story but break it up into parts so you have to pay multiple times to get one story. That's a crap way to drag you in. This is one story that you will have to pay 3 times for!! And it's not even a great story. It starts out well, but slowly starts to shred itself into a putrid mess of poor character development, falsely-ringing dialog, and unbelievable story lines. Do yourself a favor and move on to another series that might you think your time was well-spent in the reading.

This is the first book in The Scottish Billionaire trilogy by M.S. Parker and picks up the story of Alec McCrae and Keli Miller McCrae approximately a decade after they married. Alec becomes a single parent of Evanne, when they divorce, but a new woman, Lumen, enters into his and his daughter’s life. I recommend this well written book with its amazing characters and a heartfelt and fantastic story which ends in a cliffhanger.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was my first experience reading MS PARKER and I am so glad I picked up this book. OFF LIMITS is a great love story, although neither Lumen nor Alec realized that they are in love. I can’t wait to start the next book to continue the story.

This is a sweet little love story with some erotic sex scenes. Good book but very predictable. Nice lazy afternoon read.

I enjoyed it for the most part. But there was some parts that I didn't. That was that she realised who he is and went to have a dinner at his house with his kid which is her student... Then she did it again, then she just started cooking breakfast for three. How do you like your eggs lol?? Even he was choked with the last! Their relationship still wasn't there to take charge of his kitchen and the kid to see her in the morning.The principal, her boss, the way he was talking to her? Unbelievable for now days anyone talking like this at the work place.The h came up as strong woman in the beginning. She had sense, goals and principles. Eventually she became close to pathetic. I kept reading and hoping that she will show backbone.I will not buy the next book.

This story was delish in so many ways, easy for a father to take care of his daughter. Giving her the love she needed after her mother went to Italy with her boyfriend, giving her awesome life. The dad falls in love with her teacher. Please read this book and find out what happens next! Next book coming up, look for it!!!ENJOY

Another wonderful book. It had such an interesting story line and the characters were wonderful. I always enjoy reading your books.

This is everything a good romance should be. Attraction, desire, lust, moving into more. Throw in a few snags and end with a growing friendship and respect, and you have the perfect recipe for an, "Ah." The icing on the cake is the perfect editing makes this a smooth read from start to finish. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be buying the sequel to continue the story.

The story is a bit fanciful and light. But the Scottish made me cringe every time. we are supposed to believe a man moved from Scotland aged 8. He was brought up in California andthen returned to Edinburgh for university. But he appears to speak Gaelic !! If you live in the Iskands of Stornoway in Scotland you might! I am born and bred Scottish and this supposidly sophisticated man would not be speaking Gaelic and calling a woman "lass" and bonnie.Nor would he be dipping in and out of Scottish dialect like he does at random. interesting he refers to a teacher as an educator which is American.i know this is fictitious but it reads like someone has spent a week in Scotland and thinks that is how everyone speaks without researching a bit further. At Edinburgh University he would not be calling his fellow students lasses..a light hearted book.

Insults readers intelligence! My grammar might not be correct in this review but better than the overuse of the male being Scottish. If you are told once he is Scottish it would be enough. To be told so many times it becomes so annoying. Then to be asked to believe a Scot would be saying the things he says after being in the states from being a kid bar a couple of years at Uni is far reaching.I got so sick of unnecessary references and dialect stupidity, that for the first time on my kindle I deleted it.

What a good love story this is turning out to be ,it carries on a few years after the prequel. After finding out that they’d been a bit sloppy with birth control Alec & Keli found that they were expecting a baby. Nine months later Evanne was born an adorable little girl ,from the beginning Alec made it clear that come what may he was going to be involved in Evanne’s life . Although they tried to make it work as a couple they just didn’t get along so they decided to share child care with Keli being the primary care giver . Just before Evanne entered third grade Keli decided to switch Evanne’s school to one nearer Alec . The reason for this decision became apparent when on a scheduled visit to her father Keli announced she was moving to Italy with her new boyfriend and that Evanne was not going as her boyfriend didn’t want children . Faced with looking after his little girl full time and running a multi billion company Alec had to change his life enormously . Little did he know that his life was going to get even more complicated when he met the beautiful Lumen Browne ,who it turns out happens to be Evanne’s new teacher . The two decide to embark on a relationship to see where it leads but will there be repercussions to their decision ? .... time will tell 😉

Words fail me, skipped pages to see if it got any better, just to slow for me, book ended with no real ending, a coy to buy next book I think....BORING

Wow loved this book.Loved the storyline between Alec and Lumen.Loving these two together. They both need a loving relationship although they neither of them did to begin with but I think it will be good for both of them. Evanne is just simply adorable.She is an absolute doll.Cant wait now for book two.
